Borrowing my pc and upwork account . advice needed

So i found a guy online that said he would pay me 150$ every month if i will create an upwork account in my name and let him use a pc of mine for atleast 18hours a day. Did anyone ever come across something like that or is doing something similar? Would really appreciate any advice or help. Thank you

It was intriguing at first.. free money for almost no work. But 150$ a month is not worth the risk in case he would do something "bad".

I dont know but i sure will not advice.

If he asks for your upwork login details today, he'd ask for your gmail password which you gotta give cos you're partners.
If that happens to be your personal mail account with saved passwords, you are so doomed.

Just saying. Could be

Another member posted the same thing and I had seen such requests at other places too. Very risky in my opinion.

I have been approached with this same proposal several times. The issue is that a lot of employers on Upwork will only work with US employees. Upwork uses geolocation to determine where the account is located. All payments from employers are held in escrow until the job is deemed to their satisfaction. Even knowing I still would not do it.
