has anybody here ever sold any bootleg iphones? if so, how is the quality?

many places such as ebay don't allow counterfeit merchandise to be sold, and if you represent it as a real item you will open yourself up to a lot of complaints from customers who thought they were buying a real iphone... the other problem is that knockoffs are never as good as the original, nor do they work the same way. Sure, the case looks the same and the interface looks very similar, but that's as far as it goes. I bought a knockoff ipod nano a couple of years ago and I ended up giving it to a friend's kid because I wanted a real ipod.. the interface on the knockoff was NOTHING like a real ipod.

on a side note, I once saw fake ipods being sold at a flea market for like $50.. they were called ePods I think? was just the casing!! They didn't have anything inside them.

Yeah I know they can't be sold on ebay. I'm not selling them there. I wanted to sell them locally and I wasnt going to represent them as "real". I've talked to some friends to see if they've ever bought bootlegs...a few of them said they worked fine. I think everything will be okay if u give proper representation and don't try to mislead anyone.

I have a good connect for the iphones. I didn't want to buy/sell anything that didn't work. Maybe the best thing to do is to buy one and test it for myself.

Romeo,
ur so late. That fake iphone train ride has been passed over.

most of the counterfeit products are very bad quality, think about a copy of the iphone. You will get so many complaints.
