Boosting Subs and Watch Hours for monetization

Is there any setback in doing this? Let's say I buy 1000 subs off Fiver, Pay someone to promote my videos to an audience of 500k people, and also pay for 3000 - 4000 hours of watch time.

Would YouTube harm my channel by detecting bots in my sub count? Would they shadowban me or even not allow me to monetize?

You have to be very careful, I have a monetized channel that was deleted by Youtube after a reboost of watch time hours and subs following an offer on Fiverr !

It's a risk like anything in marketing is a risk. If they catch you, you can be shadowbanned and/or have your channel deleted.

It depends on the quality of services you're purchasing and if Youtube detects that or not.

... and there is a high chances he/she will get caught. Algorithm spares no one.

Do this the right way and there will be lesser risk.

Based on what i have done for multiple channels:

Create a channel and add a description

1) Add around 1500 subs.
2) Upload at least 5 to 8 videos with face cam and commentary 1 per day ( keep 2 1 hr. + long videos to add around 4.5 k watch hrs. distribute the watch hrs. between the 2 videos and the other videos can be 5 mins or more.)
3) Add some likes and views to all videos.
