Boost my new website with your help?

Hi everyone, I'm launching a new website and I'm just learning SEO so it will be the practical example where I try stuff.
I have some questions:
1- Can I refer to SEMRUSH only for keyword research is it 100% the best choice?
2- What keyword difficulty / search volume should I target in my first (let's say) 50 to 100 articles where I'm just proving to the earch engines that this is a legit website.

It would work, but not totally ideal,
you can use other tools like ahrefs & ad planner and compare the search volumes to get better estimate values

For a new website, start by targetting easy keywords, that will help you get some traffic easily with minimal investements,
From there, aim to harder keywords by the time you start building some decent links & authority,

Semrush & Ahrefs KD are not that accurate, you have to go through the search pages & decide based on the top results content, website/pages links, etc...
At least for particular keywords you decide to target, you can use these for filtering or/and taking a basic idea about the difficulty

1- Try SEMRush for finding good words, but check out other tools like Ahrefs or Ubersuggest too - they're like different flavors of ice cream, each with something unique.

2- Start with easy words that people search a bit. Imagine you're warming up before running a marathon - build your strength first with simpler stuff.

Congratulations on your New site.
  1. SEMRUSH is helpful for keyword ideas, but check out other tools like Ahrefs or Google Keyword Planner for a fuller picture.
  2. For your first 50-100 articles, pick keywords that aren't too hard and have a decent number of searches to show search engines your site is legit. Mostly go for long tail keywords in which you won't have to face intense competition

2.Concentrate keywords with lower to Medium difficulty, especially as you're establishing your website's authority and credibility. Keywords with lower difficulty scores are typically easier to rank for a New Site .

Please take a look at the stats below, the site is alive for 3 days now and these are the stats.
Does this is seem like I'm targeting high competition keywords?
With total impressions of 450, am I on the good path and should only change my keyword research strategy?

Thank you so much, so anything below 30KD and like 100~200 volume I go for it
I tried google keyword planner but its results are so different than semrush (KD, volume, cpc...)
 
It's best to write on low competitive keywords. You have to manually analyze the SERP results when selecting a topic. Also, do not take the search volume too seriously. It can be highly inaccurate.

Hi,
Your both ideas are very good. But I have one more idea to improve your domain rating, traffic and visitors. You have need to do-follow back links from other wel-rated sites. So publish your article/blog/post with do follow back links.

SEMrush, Ahrefs or even Google Keyword Planner for a broader perspective. For a new site, aim for long-tail keywords with lower difficulty scores (under 30-40). These are easier to rank for. As for search volume, don't ignore low-volume keywords. They can be goldmines for targeted traffic.
 
Use Google keyword planner, ahrefs along with semrush to discover more keywords in your niche. Starting with low difficulty keywords will actually help your website get ranked. Also 450 impression for a new site is good tbh and also a indication it shows in search results in google.
 
You can also use keyword planner and always choose low difficulty keywords with high search volume for quick and better

results ... Monitor your Competitor's site and analyse to rank better ....
