Boost Mobile Sim Card Question

hey guys i have service though boost mobile (cell phone) wich is unlimited everything
talk text net chirp i have a friend that has a iphone he doesnt use anymore
do you think if i pop my boost mobile sim card into the iphone i can get all my features still? I would try it but my friend is out of state so he would have to ship it to me i did ask though and he tells me the phone is unlocked

You might still be able to talk if im not mistaken but thats about it. No chirp and no data either..most likely no text messages because when you use boost mobile texting it uses the internet to send and when you receive a message you have to download it..which plain sucks!
