Hi,
Recently I migrated a pretty new website from WordPress to Nuxt SSR. Design, content, structure and everything was kept the same.
Ofcourse Nuxt has a much cleaner code output, better rendering etc. But still it suprised me the website went from almost non-existent to ranking on some volume keywords weeks after moving to the website. Not a single thing like linkbuilding was done. The performance got better but not by a huge amount because the WordPress website was well optimized. Also speed doesn't have a massive weight when it comes to ranking. This isn't the first time I see this, about one year ago I did a migration for a 50k traffic / month website and they improved their ranking quite a bit short after.
What do you guys think, does Google prefer cleaner frameworks, does speed have more weight than some us think or were we lucky
?
