books.google.com in serp!? WTF

I am doing some research for my business, and you would think my top search results would have been authority brand sites that have a say in what I am looking for, but no, top search results are all filled by books.google.com

you guys notice the same?

Looks interesting though its been a while since i last noticed that coming in search.

Yes I noticed this a few years ago.
Obviously this URL has a lot of authority, they may rank mostly for somehow technical queries, not so much for general queries.
 
Yes, from the last updates google books are rankings for a lot of keywords, I'm not sure they will fix the "issue"
 
Yeah, i see books.google.com all the time for some reason
 
I also see them in some niches, for some keywords they are on top while for others teh first page is filled with them. The books arent even niche related, and google said that they will not show the same website for the same search results twice. yet I see 3-4 of these crappy books on the serps constantly
 
Google is just pushing useless updates to favor themselves. Greedy f*cks!
 
I have noticed that too.
At the begining, I was thinking to a bug, because none of the results with the books.google are relevant.
I hope they will fix that soon

Yep definitely lol. After 10 google books results and 7 or 8 pinterest ones, theres probably a fliphtml5 or something like that!

It makes me wonder though, why are they getting so desperate exactly now?! They have moooree than enough money to pay their lawsuits. Is CoronaV enough of a reason for this?

They're stealing user's data alongside. So, they need some beer money to settle petitions whenever caught red handed.

this is a different search from what I wanted for my work. you should see a result from books.google.com is sitting at the top!!!

It's hard to upload a book, so that's why google thinks it's a trusted source, but god damn the relevance is terrible af!
