Bookmarking Sites: Published vs. Upcoming

Hey all. Beginning to bookmark some sites and I want to publish on as many social bookmarking sites as possible. I have a lengthy list of sites, but most are no-follow. That is, when they are in the "Published" category, they are follow, but when they are in the "upcoming" category, they are no-follow. Anyone know how to get a link fro the upcoming to the published list and what the difference is?
