Bookmarking Demon?

No One has the Crack. Looks like a decent bit of software if it is updated everymonth and it takes another month to crack.

yeah, it does well for indexing. But It could be better, if we get the crack for 3.4 somewhen ;-)
 
Submitting link to social bookmarking sites is good for driving traffic. Imagine the numbers of people visiting those popular bookmarking sites. They're in the range of millions. Just a fraction of these coming to your site is good enough.

However, for backlinks purposes, bookmarking may not be the best to go. Most of these bookmarking site have employed NO-FOLLOW policy. Hence, it wouldn't pass on link advantage to your site. For building of backlinks, it's useful to try posting comments at high ranking blogs.
 
Hey Guys, Bookmarking demon works extremely well for indexing sites. It's been hit or miss on generating traffic but that's primarily due to the quality of my stories. When you submit to the bookmarking sites like digg, you need to have something that jumps out.
For example, something like "The Top 10 Weight Loss Scams of History" might do extremely well where a general post on losing weight might not do anything.

I had an article management system that integrates bookmarking demon into my server side software to submit my urls with one click. It's pretty nasty. I'd recommend doing something similar to that with all of the programs you use or at least creating a macro to save on time.

Yes i too used this so called Bookmarking Demon 3.0.1.0.
It has some around 50-60 bookmarking website(the list will updated frequently,if you are registered customer )out of which it will can register 50% sites automatically and the rest you have to register manually and put your username and password into the system.
when ever you want to publish a URL just write the descirption once and click submit button.
If the respective bookmark site has CAPTCHA image reader , the system will popup a CAPTACHA image reader wher you manually have to fill it.

I feel comfortable to an extent, but con's are not all socialbook mark support this system.so instead of depending only on Bookmarking Demon i would suggest you to try out other Demon's aswelll...smiles..

So if the social bookmarking sites are using the nofollow tag wouldn't it be best to use something to comment on blogs instead of bookmarking sites? I am interested in the back links and gaining search engine rankings more than the traffic from the sites.
 
A SB site with nofollow tags is almost useless in my honest opinon. Its great for indexing, and backlinks when they are provided, but without a backlink the site is a poor link dump at best.
 
All I can say is my experience... I bought this piece of crap software which has to log into a server where I encountered invalid User over 10x in a row. Then when it finally got going it couldnt run cause there were no proxies.....go figue....To me it looks like Tag and Ping with a twist and the programmer did a visually nice job but what is under the hood is crap!

Bookmarking sites are not ideal for the building of backlinks. For good quality back links, u should use blog comment posting software. Such software should allows u to search for blogs related to a particular theme specified by u. Furthermore, it should allow u to find blog with "DO FOLLOW" tags. I've tried out a few different softwares and i know which one is good. Let me know if u're interested.

As for bookmarking softwares, i think they're great for driving traffic to your sites.

I have comment Kahuna but haven't tried it yet.
there is also a blog demon.
So, in your opinion bookmarking will get traffic but not give pr or increase search engine rankings?

I tend to agree with this. I would use it for back links and seo. With nofollow tag you wouldn't get these benefits.
 
but I guess Bookmarking is still the best free method .. well I agree most of them use No-Follow tag so no backlinks but what about visitors ? you know if you submit around 100 stories chances are one or two of them will skyrocket that's 1% but hold on guys
1-5000 visitors per day (if you know how to sustain it ) is great!

the point here is to double chances maybe one or two stories rise then sustain traffic
