Hey Scritty,

Hey man, you're posts have been SUPER helpful and I couldn't be thankful enough, I did have a few proxy questions though.

You had mentioned that you want to submit through "1 fixed proxy per account"
which if I'm correct, if I take an email and make 30 accounts on the top dfollow sites then for that account when I run the submissions, I'll just use the same proxy I used to create those to submit.

I've gone through the operations manual and I can't seem to set up my proxies correctly. So for example, BMD will generate 3 random user accounts like sarafjwe, saraafi, and saradksl. So When I input the proxy syntax, I tell BMD to:

sarafjwe-password-143.135.165.26-43210
saraafi-password-143135.165.26-43210
saradksl-password-143.135.165.26-43210

(sry, new bhw, won't let me put the right symbols in the right spots, but you get the idea.)

yet when I go to submit and I have multiple accounts with their respective IP's, they don't submit correctly and the program just picks a random IP

Also, you had mentioned that you create 30-40 batches of accounts a day, are each of those accounts created on a separate proxy? I only have 10 pvt proxies through ypp atm.

Be careful your not in "beginner" mode.
GO to preferences then connection and add your IP's
Remember to follow the format rules for username and password (user:password@proxy)

Every hour or two sites "forget" the list of IP's that have visited them. SO if you have 10 proxies you can set up 40 accounts a day by doing perhaps 10 at 9:00am, 10 at midday etc etc.

Dont "force" the use of a specific proxy - allow BMD to sort it for you - it will follow some very specific rules when slecting which IP to use (basically doing all the work for you in this regard)

In fact -once you have the proxies set up in preferences - just leave them. Set the number of threads running to the number of proxies you have. You will then have 1 thread per IP (maximum threads of about 30 depending on internet speed and response)

Ensure you check the "STOP" button in the connection tab to the question "If all servers died" - Yuu risk getting huge wads of accounts banned if you don't do this.

When bookmarking:
I press the "Add My Web Pages To Queue" several times. Allow for 30-40% failure rate and I want each URL bookmarked severl times per run.

I make a project per site -BMD will ensure that the same URL/Account combo is not duplicated as long as you set up a project and use it each day for your site or links.

REMEMBER - BMD's stregnth is not in linking itself but in getting good quality links indexed. Even then I would still Ping and RSS submit AS WELL.

Also consider using Xrumer/Sick/Private bookmarking to absolutely ensure your good quality links get indexed.

By good quality links I mean WEB2.0 - high end private networks and of course articles

Hey Scrit,

Thanks thanks thanks thanks for the super timely response, I've read all your recent threads (web 2.0, linking etc), you have no idea how helpful you've been, you're seriously neck and neck with mother theresa and jesus, if for whatever reason we're ever in the same town, drinks/bottle service is on me =)

Just to further clarify one more time (just got my ypp subscription, would be super fail if I lost them on the 2nd day out)

Account Creation

Once I input my IP's in the proper private proxy format, bmd will just "know" not to use the same IP per site twice? Because the manual makes it sound like it just picks IP's out of a hat.

You had mentioned earlier:

10 private proxies is enough for some pretty large runs. 2 or 3 submissions per proxy per site is ok. 30 sites, 10 proxies, 3 max = 900 submissions is a day (I tend to max at 500 submissions a day being about 100 links and 5 submissions per link across ten threads)

So if my project is say 10 accounts since I have 10 proxies (each account containing the top 30 ******** bm sites), bmd will "know" to not overlap the accounts".

Misc/newb/retard questions

Since I only want 2-3 submissions per site, I set my RSS camo 1:1, so in that case, do you also use the Random Select?

Maximum bookmarks per site
Maximum bookmarks per account
Randomly select

I checked off "Maximum bookmarks per account" to be 3 so that way I don't exceed

I'm using YourprivateProxy right now, and the syntax for private proxies in BMD is

user:password(at)proxy

yet my login name is an e-mail address which has an (at) symbol in it and the program beeps at me when I click okay, it's utterly tilting.

Thanks again and you are the man

-Kevin

I also use yourprivateproxies. Alter the format they use to the one BMD wants. (it's just a case of shuffling it around)

Yes BMD will not overlap accounts on a project.
It is why having lots of accounts is a major advantage. If you want to add 2 or 3 BM's per day to a particular URL you would soon run out.

Remember - getting a link indexed is not a "black and white" issue.
Links get "deindexed" particularly if the article or URL they are on seems spammy or low powered.

BMD needs to be used with consideration - but over a long period of time.

I used a little test to see how quickly things get deindexed.

I wrote a well spun article in UAW. Nested spinning (paragraphs then sysnonyms within paragraphs)

THe one thing that WASN'T spun was a unique (and very odd) Author name and sent it out. Waited a couple of weeks.

I then did an exact match search for the author name (like I said - a very odd and unique name - something like "Ebeneezer R Scrungeworthy" or something - I can't remember.

550+ indexed pages (with my links on)
a fortnight later it reached 570+
A month later it was under 500
3 months after that it was under 100
Now (a month or so later) it's about 10

They got indexed - they got deindexed.
UAW posts on some shit awful low PR sites )almost all UAW sites are low PR) but I got a huge traffi boost for a few weeks/months. Now - it'a almost as if I had never written the piece.

Did the same but harvested the URL's with my links on (manually - before I bought AMR) and bookmarked, pinged and RSS'd them

Still got 400 plus indexed. I am taking extra care of the 50 or so that are PR2 or greater and bookmarking them each week (random days - random sites) pinging them again to a different set of sites (get a big list - there's a list of almost 70,000 somewhere on BHW) and now and then putting them in an RSS mash

Not lost one link in the PR2 or greater list.

Someone back a page or two ago on this thread reckoned you could achieve indexing of thousands of links and URL's with one or two bookmarking accounts. I'm here to tell you it takes time and effort. But at least once you've set the accounts up it's just a matter of pressing a button.

Hey guys,

is anyone heard about bookmarkingcoach . com? The author claimed it's a complete Bookmarking Demon SEO Guide.

I have to say I am not impressed by BMD - it is very very touchy and doesn't work so well.

setting up accounts takes AGES! The autmatic account set up doesn't really work (i have decpatcher) and it is generally not a reliable tool.

That is my experience.,

don't understand why everybody is agaist bmd...
It's a pretty good tool and with a captcha service it Does work fast.
Great tool for getting fast indexing.

OKAY HELP ME OUT HERE...cos i am lagging with this tool...

  • How many accounts per bookmarking service do you have?
  • Can you create new BMD Bookmarket service accounts - using Decaptcher
  • Do you use BMD ONLY to post links to Bookmarking Services? If so How many sites?

I have found it impossible to get BMD to set up accounts on Bookmarking services. It does manage to post links, but that is another thing - first you have to have lots of accounts.

Bookmarking demon is an awesome program plus they are always updating the software

All of these questions are answered in this thread. In fact all of them are ansered in this thread several times.

If people can't make accounts on BMD they are doing something wrong. RTFM - or do something else instead.

Setting up accounts is time consuming as far as your PC's run time is concerned - but with a decaptcher tool it's almost hands free. Do something else while your PC is making the accounts and step back every 5 or 10 minutes to start another 1 Another 1 being 1 account accross however many sites you have selected)

1 - Buy (or set up) Emails
2 - Go to "Mail" tab (bottom left) and input and verify email addreses
3 - Select sites you would like each account to join (check the site on the big list)
4 - Click "Create accounts" button (top left) hit the lthe radio buttons on the right of the 1st 2nd and 5th input field until they show a first name, last name and password (it really doesn't matter what they show - it certainly doesn't need to reflect the email address you are using)
5 - Click the 4th field (User name) 1 or more times until it shows 4 user names (the more the better for obfusication)
6 - Select an unused email address from the 3rd field (it will show the emails you added in step 2)
7 - Press OK
8 - Wait.

You wil NOT GET 100% success (70% is good - 50-70 is average)

Repeat until all you accounts are set up so far

9 - Wait an hour (for all emails from sites to come in - or at least most of them)

10 - Go back to "Mail" tab again (bottom right)

11 - Press "Download emails" This will fetch all you sign up mails from all your loaded accounts

12 - Press "Process emails" This will activate your accounts

I have done this a few times - I have maybe 500 email accounts and many thousand individual "site" accounts set up. It's never been a problem.

If you aren't prepared to wait for accounts or accept a 30-45% failure rate etc, then go and do something else instead. Simple as that.

It's not about linking - it's about indexing, and the more you do to your links the moire they will benfit in terms of SERPS and longevity (unsupported links get de-indexed almost as fast as they get indexed)

For link support BMD works for me (as part of a several stage process)
If it doesn't work for you then tough - i'll benefit from less competition in my chosen method - it's no skin off my nose.

IM takes hard work - if you believe the GURU's then go and buy some "You can make $148,000 dollars a month" tool instead - and come back ready to work at it when you wasted all your cash on Guru crap.

Thanks Scritty for your thorough posts, it really helps. :)

I have to say this thread here is a real help for me. I bought bmd just yesterday and I think I will have the support of contributors like Scritty and others to help with questions. I went to proxy bonanza and looked at prices there, as far as services we need for this program to operate correctly, do you have any links to post for those? I could use some reputable service providers for the emails lists, proxies, etc.

Any help for a brand new user with info would be good. I did read thru this whole thread, some pages were fairly quick, bu there is quite a timespan on this thread and some info may be a bit stale.

I was glad to have a one time fee software that can help me boost my url's I promote. I saw where there was a recent loss reported on success with other programs, here in this forum too. I wanted at least a fighting chance to put in the hours of work and training myself, and have it at least show some results.

thnx

Hey Scrit, if you're still in this thread, I made this on your other related threads as I think you are the most knowledgeable person on BHW in regards to bookmarking. Thanks again as you've cleared up so many clouds for me

QUESTION!! Okay, so here?s a very general linking Diagram:

1. Web 2.0 Site<----SB COMMENT<------ BOOKMARK
2. Web 2.0 Site<----Profile Link<------ -- BOOKMARK
3. Web 2.0 Site<----Article<----- ------- --BOOKMARK
4. Web 2.0 Site<----BOOKMARK

I?m referring to the SEO Link Robot Strat Guide as a general reference, according to the guide, each Web 2.0 site needs about 75-100 profile links and 50-75 Autoblog Comments. That being said (in correspondence with numbered diagrams above):

1. How many bookmarks does each profile link need?
2. How many bookmarks does each SB comment need?
3. How many bookmarks does each article need?
4. How many RAW bookmarks does a web 2.0 site need?

Now, I know some guru is going to pop in here and tell me ?not to worry about exact numbers? and what not, but it would be helpful to at least have a rough ballpark to shoot for. Oh and good god, how much money are you big hitters spending on captcha a day lol?

Also, I have roughly 10 clusters set up on backlinks energizer that does 600 links a day, roughly how many do you have set up?

Can you use BMD (or something like it) for adult sites?

I would venture to say that it would depend on what the tos of the individual bookmarking sites and what they would allow. You can promote any url it seems, keeping the bookmark and the account active may be another thing altogether when dealing with adult content.

However, I'd like to get that list of 2.0 sites you can see from Magic Submitter sale page...
