So are you saying the software works fine, you just need to learn to properly use it?
FIRST : Get the book!!! Either buy it or find it for free. I just bought the dang thing. You are wasting your time without it. I'm a cheap bastard and still recognize it as one of my better purchases because I used to HATE BMD! Now it's not sooo bad..It's actually one of my most reliable pieces of software (I thought I would never say that, ever!)
Some Tips if you chose to ignore my book buying advice: Use PLENTY OF PRIVATE PROXIES AND CREATE NEW ACCOUNTS DAILY for awhile with unique usernames not lloorriiee or aaardddvarrrke, like BMD suggests when you hit the auto username button. Just get in a routine and build your empire. After a couple weeks you'll have a bunch of working accounts for each site. Set a goal of like 50-100 working accounts per site and stick to it. This will keep you from getting banned more than anything and allow you to get away with bookmarking more sites without the bookmarking sites flagging you for spamming. You have to know when to use rss camouflage and when not to use it. See more about this below.
BMD lacks some serious details in its manual that Diane explains in her guide. There are some golden rules that you need to follow when you use this software. For example, you'll find that the way you post to the main bookbarking sites (sites like digg, stumbleupon fark ect..) will be different than the way you post to the pligg sites.
Here is a snippet to get you started but is by far not enough to get you a 90% success rate, there are a lot of settings that you need to configure that I haven't got in my head at the moment:
Every Bookmarking Demon 'Run' Has Four Sections
Select and tick URLs from different websites at "My Web Pages" tab, then do the following:
Main Sites Proxies On
1. Go to Dashboard, Preferences, Miscellaneous to change browser appearance
2. At Bookmarking Sites tab untick Scuttle/Pligg sites
3. Now tick all MAIN sites
4. At Dashboard, Preferences, Connection turn off proxies (RSS feeds will not load when
proxies are on)
5. Go to Dashboard, Preferences, Randomization to turn on RSS feeds
6. At Bookmarking tab click on "Add My Webpages to Queue"
7. At Bookmarking tab adjust the spammometer to 2 notches or below (pg. 40)
8. Go to Dashboard, Preferences, Connection and turn ON proxies
9. Go to Bookmarking Tab to hit START
10.Leave everything in the bookmarking queue when finished
Main Sites Proxies Off
1. Change browser appearance
2. turn off proxies
3. hit START
4. clear bookmarking queue (note: the successful bookmarks remain, grey with a line
through them. These will automatically disappear when BMD is shut down and
restarted)
Scuttle/Pligg Proxies On
1. Change browser appearance
2. turn on proxies
3. turn off RSS feeds
4. untick MAIN sites
5. tick Scuttle/Pligg sites
6. load queue
7. apply spammometer (optional)
8. hit START
9. leave everything in the bookmarking queue when finished
Scuttle/Pligg Proxies Off
1. Change browser appearance
2. turn off proxies
3. hit START
4. clear bookmarking queue (note: the successful bookmarks remain, grey with a line
through them. These will automatically disappear when BMD is shut down and
restarted)
