Bookmarking Demon......I am NOT Impressed!

Interface: Great
Account Creation: Only 95/106 successful, I can deal with that
Bookmarking: 27/95??? Wtf? And this is with 1-2 RSS feeds being posted for each bookmark

Its also lacking the support of the biggest and most trusted social bookmarking sites: digg,diigo,spurl,sphinn,scoopit,folkd,favoriten,mixx,myfavs....

I don't know, I was so excited when I purchased it, but now I think I might return it...Anybody else have any similiar experiences?

I know. Unlike social submitter who actually advertise that it will bookmark
all those top social sites. up to 180.

You prolly have to add your own sites manually for bmd,
its tedious, and i ask why? :(
it defeats the purpose of why i bought it, to save me time,
and to automate my life.

everyone got something to say? BMD was crap last time i tried it but im guessing the paid version has to be somewhat better.

I think the real test will take time... i.e. go heads against onlywire and BMD see which ones get indexed and posted...

but ofcourse BMD is skuttle tastic... which these days i think still matters...

bunch of noobs, i got hundreds of backlinks. BMD 5 will be a big upgrade also. You NEED to verify accounts, and get a solid list of around 500 pligg+scuttles

Agreed... its great in skilled hands. hehe:tee:

yes, you need to manually click the links, I might try it with senukes verification.

build your own list of pliggs, and others. Check what percentage you post to, best case is 80% because that is the way it is designed.

You can set the low random level to 60%, so you could have the highest settings and still only get 60% success.

I bought it a long time ago so my $67 was worth it. I get 145-200 success every time I run it.

Like most of these tools, some hate it, some love it.

I am in the "hate it" camp. Again, like most of these things if you test and test and test, eventually you will hit on the correct formula to getting it to work. Never enough hours in the day!

Im sat here reading and wondering what the hell program you guys are on about. I realise that BMD4 hasn't been updated in a few months, which might I add is totally not what Edwin usually does, but it has paid for itself so many times over it isn't funny.

Normally when people ask for advice about what tools to use I jump at the chance to say get BMD as its only $97, if you can't make that back quickly you are a bit of a ******. I feel like Im the weirdo with having success using it for what its designed to be used for.

Its by no means the only bookmarking tool you will ever need but it is such a low price and will take so much of the backlinking load off of you I cannot recommend it enough. If the rumours of a version 5 are correct then you would be a ****** to not buy it, simple as that.

I like BMD.

no month fee ,free update .

if you add a list of sites , you dont need worry about how many backlinks you will get . I only worry about one thing : Do I submit my pages to too many sites in a day ?

I am easily swayed - if and when version 5 emerges I will have another go.

The other thing I would say about these tools is that you have to BUY them rather than use the cracked/nulled versions from here and other places. I appreciate most people starting out aren't making that much cash to pay for them but if you pay you get the latest version, updates and support. Treat your work as a business, invest and measure the return on investment.

Just my 2p's worth

That is very true, I was one of the fortunate ones to have bought the software when it just turned v3.0 so I have had lots of use out of it for my $97. The one time fee is great but is also probably the reason it hasn't been updated in a couple months.

This isn't the first lul in updates I have noticed so the software isn't perfect, not by a long shot, but it is so cheap it seemed like a no brainer to me.

You are also very correct in that to get the most from a tool like this you need to have the paid version otherwise you will always be a good ways behind the curve, being just one update behind can be the difference between having the power of all the bookmarking sites on your side or a bunch of sites that simply don't work.

I also agree with what someone ^^ there said about the fact that a lot of the time the bookmarking process will claim a fail when in actual fact it has been successful, this makes it a pain to keep track of what sites are still working and which ones are not but it is a slight upside that more than it reports work fine.

Oh and don't forget to activate your accounts otherwise you cannot blame the tool for not working.

You guys just have to wait for my bookmarking tool. Im still looking for a few ACTIVE testers :(

im trying to make it something like senuke. 100% automated and only the top 2x bookmarking sites.

Serious if you checkout the sites that are used by bookmarkingdemon (scuttle/pligg/etc) they are 75% filled with viagra and gambling links.

quality is the key. you dont want your whitehat business on those spammy sites.

also a VERY lacking feature of linkbuilding/bookmarking tools is they dont provide any submission report. you dont get to see the actual PERMALINK to the bookmarking site. the tool is saying "successfull posted" but there is no way to verfiy your link is on the site.

Does BMD allow you to remove sites from its list so that you can remove the dead sites?

Where are people currently getting it for $97?

I tried a demo of BMD a while ago.

Buggy as hell - wasn't too impressed.

i need version 5 as version 4 isnt impressing me

I have to say Social Bot has been working pretty awesome. Very high success rate setting up and submitting accounts. Easy to use as well

Thanks for the recommendation, I'll have to look into that. BMD4 has been less than impressive lately, but I have a good feeling with BMD5. My biggest complaint is how the program goes without updates, except when there is a major release. I wish we'd see smaller updates and more frequent updates rather than one large update every year.

Social Bot seems to be a lot easier- the success rate is very very high. It doesnt have all the scuttle sites and such, but all the major bookmarking sites are there. I'll post a screen shot of the success rate so you can see
