Bookmarking Demon Best Practices, tips and techniques

I want to start this thread hopefully it becomes a sticky. There are some post about bookmarking demon on here already, but I want to keep this thread about best practices, tips and techniques.

First off from my other post here's how to protect yourself using proxies:

Seems like proxyfirewall is unable to track BMD
You might want to try chaining with Privoxy (you can download from www.privoxy.org)

BMD -> Privoxy -> Proxyfirewall

1) In BMD, make it choose proxy server and add
127.0.0.1:8118

2) Run Privoxy and BMD (test with account creation/bookmarking to create connection traffic)

Proxyfirewall should be able to detect privoxy.

As Far as using BMD4 goes, I use of course use the proxy solution mentioned above.

I crawled my site, and threw out all the pages I didn't want like contact us, privacy notice, etc...still left me with about 30 urls to bookmark. I only have a few different accounts, but I was thinking I should probably have more accounts than pages to bookmark...what do you you guys think?

I have different variations of keywords and descriptions. I have different variations of the title tag as well, but only between two, because I want to focus on those keywords. What do you guys think?

One question I have, is how often to bookmark and how often to ping in order to stay under the radar.

I own bmd 5 2 months,but I still confuse about its powerful function,I want to know exactly how to use it, any help will be appreciated

Damn it! I'm killing myself with this proxy business all day today.

So this is what I'm doing:

I have BMD 5 and chose the setting "let me define my own proxy server" = 127.0.0.1:8118

I have Privoxy turn on, it doesn't seem to do anything, just sitting in the task bar

I have Proxy Firewall v1.0.4 running with a list of open proxy I got today.

And it doesn't seem to be doing anything. When i open fireforx/ie or Privoxy, ProxyFirewall is not detecting any of these guys.

I have Vista so I open ProxyFirewall as Admin, I read that it's supposed to detect program trying to connect to the internet and pop up a message to let me decide, but I have never actually seen this pop up.

Am I doing something wrong? any help guys?

I've owned BMD for over a year.

I have 15-20 accounts at every site and I always use 1-5 links from an RSS feed for every 1 page I'm going to bookmark. I also use 10 paid proxies.

I use it 5 days a week and probably 90% of my accounts are still active and going strong. You can easily stay under the radar by simply doing the above.

Me as well, I have found plenty of tutorials although I have not found one extensive enough to change settings to set up the scheduling feature. And I don't understand why I cannot just add the pages I want and Bookmark them, the program keeps adding rss that I truly believe will be more of a red flad than it would if I just add my own camoflage. How can this be done? BMD 5 is so extensive you cant open it out the box and let it go, horrible. I'm not going to give up on it but I would love someone to shed some light on the situation, it would be much appreciated, please help.
