I just got BMD and I am trying to set it up but having a few problems.

I have made 10 accounts/profiles within the tool, and I now want BMD to register accounts on the list of 100 bookmarking sites that is provided with it (so 1000 accounts in total).

If I add in a list of proxys to the global proxy menu, will BMD know to rotate the proxys for each account creation at each bookmarking site, or do I need to input the proxy into the Local Proxy menu on the individual account settings?

I am wanting to use scrapebox to harvest fresh public proxies for this, but I am worried that if I input them in the global proxy option menu, some account creations may be made from the same IP address on the same bookmarking site.. but I am not sure? - And will this be the same for bookmarking submissions also?

Yes, BMD will rotate the proxies automatically for the account creation, for global or local. To be safe, if you've got say 10 private proxies, I would create multiple profiles in groups of 10 a couple of times a day so that the sites will more or less "forget" your IP address. If you're just going to create one account on thousands of sites, you've got nothing to worry about. Just input your proxies and go.

And yes, if you use public proxies for the account creation and whatnot, it's going to be a huge waste of time.

Confirming what's above, BMD choses a proxy at random from the list. You'll see this in action when it starts submitting. I can't remember exactly what it says but it's something like "retreiving ip address." I also generally use private proxies for this. You can set the speed of posting/scraping as well, so that your ips are less likely to get banned.

Ok I think I understand.. being trying to figure this out for the past few hours.

I just bought 100 email accounts of fiver.
P.s I want to create 10 accounts at each bookmarking site, then bookmark 40 of my web 2.0 sites to each on.

    Is this correct:
    1. New Bookmark Task - Select Account Creation only
    2. Add Sites / Create Account
    3. Repeat this 10 times to create 10 different Accounts
    4. Add 10 private proxies to the Global List.
    5. Click Start to start account creation process.
    6. BMD will automatically know not to use the same proxy for creating multiple accounts on each site?
    7. Repeat whole process but this time we select "submit to bookmarking sites" instead of account create.

I have around 40 web 2.0 sites I want to bookmark to all of these sites (100 bookmarking sites available in BMD).
    This is 4000 accounts almost.
Is 10 proxies enough for this??

So you would create 10 email accounts, a few times a day = maybe 30-40 accounts a day with only 10 proxies? Is that do-able?
I am not sure what you mean by this, if you are only using 10 proxies won't the sites notice those IP addresses even more with the more accounts you make?

No - proxy rotation is automatic. BMD even now knows if the site is part of a "farm" (many URLs sharing an IP that might reveal you as the same poster) That's all dealt with "under the hood"

Not all in one day. |If you try and create 100 accounts at the same site with 10 proxies do the math

    100 divided by 10 = 10
You'll be using each proxy ten times per site.

If I was you I'd do ten in the morning, ten in the evening and repeat for 5 days. Most sites will accept that (average of 2 visits per proxy per day with a decent gap)

Same with posting. You want to "vote" post?
Put it on schedule and take your time. This is where having it run in the background on a VPS comes into it's own.

Ok I took the advice in this thread and I have now made 40 account profiles so far, 10 at a time every few hours in the day.
Each account is registered to about 70 of the 100 bookmarking sites that came preloaded in BMD.

I am now looking to start my submission, but having a big problem.
In the same project, I open up one of the random accounts I made in a new task, and add in my URL's in Step 3 that I want bookmarked.
There is around 30 urls but it is asking me to edit the meta info (spin title/description) for url.
I tried to highlight them all and edit them together, but it's forcing me to edit every single one of my sites manually which seems like a huge pain.

Once I do this, I have to re-do the whole thing for the remaining 39 accounts? (add sites, change randomization, add camo)
Or is there a way to only do it for 1 account in the project, then have BMD know to use all 40 accounts for the submissions and not just the one I changed the settings for.

I also plan on doing submission randomly, 3-5 bookmarks per site using 1:1 camo over a period of 8 hours.
(With 10 proxys and 40 accounts - once I figure out how)
Is this enough or will I be able to get more out of this?
Originally I wanted a bookmark at every single one of my sites from every social bookmarking site I had an account on = 30 urls x 70 accounts = 2100 bookmarks, but I have a feeling this was really over optimistic?

Also Scritty I seen in your other threads you mention you "add sites" multiple times, 3-4 times in a row. What do you mean by this? I am guessing it has something to do with my problem above.

Watched all the videos on the bookmarking demon site but they didn't answer any of these and want to bang my head off a wall!

As I said - there is a spreadsheet to do this on Demondemon.com..
You can add your sites to bookmark pre-formatted and easy to go from the .csv file it creates.

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bjdAKLjOBmY

At the time I made it the spreadsheet was exactly the same for UD as BMD - if BMD has changed it probably won't work for BMD any more - but I don't think it has.

Add sites multiple times gets around the rather strict controls that BMD seems to put on when you ask it to randomize your posting. Set to "low spam" it misses 1/2 your sites. set to high it throws everything at every site. I found that slider a bit awkward to get right, so I set it to "low spam" (or whatever it said) but just repeated the process several times till the amount of links that were being planned felt right.

I have to add though. I don't use BMD anymore and have not touched BMD6 at all (only updated to 6 yesterday - and that was because I opened the app to check something to reply to your last email and it insisted I update first), so if anything has changed, then there's not much I can do about it. I use Ultimate Demon for everything now and have for quite a few months.

Hope this helps anyway - use the spreadsheet.

Does the bookmarking component of Ultimate Demon have just as good or better success rates than Bookmarking Demon?

    Excactly the same.
The scripts are more or less 100%. Failures are almost entirely

    • Category not supported (niche website only wants content on a specific topic - there are quite a few of these)
    • Too few tags
    • Title too long
    • Title too short
    • Commas or capitalization wrong on titles, tags or categories
    • Too many Tags
    • Innapropriate Category
    • Description Too Short
    • Description Too Long
    • Use of "Black Listed" words in tags, descriptions or categories,
    • Spam detected (too many links to same account fromm same domain)
    • Site is 404/40? whatever
    • Site allows sign up but not submission
    • None human (bot) sign up or submission detected (happens a lot on Digg, Reddit, and many Pligg sites) i.e you need to slow the process down
    • Multiple attempts from same IP detected on Bookmark farm (many of the sites are actually hosted on the same IP and share sign up and submission attempt info - you need to filter these out)
    • Poor/Slow/Banned proxy

All of the above are fixable - or at least improveable. When I ran my webinars on BMD 18 months ago I watched 9 students go through the process. (people who claimed they knew how to use the basics of BMD and just needed to improve a little.)

Without a single exception they broke just about every rule in the list above - then wondered why their failure rate was high.
Most improved from between 5% to 15% success to something approaching 50% success.

Clean up your lists, format your descriptions, tags and categories, post slow, use a good captcha service, use fully private proxies (or nor proxy at all if you are not going to post that many BM's). No profane references

But the BIGGEST failure of them all is "Failed Captcha"
75% of sites now use recaptcha (the hard one that Captcha Sniper can't do)
Deathbycaptcha for 8 hours a day fails about 90% of these (and still charges you for them)
The normal failure rate is also extremely high (20-30%) on all captcha services I've tested. (article and video here)

    Code:
    http://www.demondemon.com/2012/03/09/ultimate-demon-testing-the-captcha-solving-services/
I now use decaptcha again and go for 4 tries and very slow.
50% with any tool (and I've used a lot of them) is pretty good.

    Great info thanks.

So out of my 40 accounts I have prefilled one of them using the information you provided.
It shows my 30 web 2.0 properties to bookmark, rss camo 1:1 and set randomly to bookmark each property 3-5 times.

When I start this submission, will BMD automatically use the other 39 accounts for bookmarking my sites at random or will I need to add in all the sites again to those accounts aswell.. then manually start all 40 accounts in one go?

Also - It takes me about 4 hours to make accounts on 70 bookmarking sites per account.
Is this normal speed? I am getting about 75% success rate.
I tried it with and without proxies and it was the same speed, using 10 threads.

Just got help from support on this incase anyone else is wondering the same question.

Apparently if you have made 200 accounts and you want to spread submission over them all, you have to manually clone the task to all 200 individual accounts.

Really disappointing as I assumed it was all automated for you :(
