Hi all, this post is in concerns to getting a keyword to rank very highly in google searches.
If you don't know, you can make a Digg, and give the title and the description a long tail keyword phrase. something like. top 10 ways for bloggers to make money in 24 hours. or whatever the long keyword phrase may be. If I post the phrase for the title and the same phrase for the description, chances are my post on digg will wind on 1st ranks on google when that exact keyword is typed in.
I've never seen this done before, but what if, and again, this is for arguments sake, I take a keyword that is something like. Free Healthcare, which I'm sure you'd agree, a lot more people would type that into a search engine, rather than, free healthcare for Flint Mi, or whatever.
My idea is to take a keyword that people will most likely type in, but has a decent amount of competition, and still ranking high for your keyword, whatever it may be.
take the keyword, make a digg about it. Let it get googled by spider so hat it's lost somewhere in the engine.
Use the other bookmarking sites, and essentially bookmark your digg bookmark.
Wouldn't this cause your digg submission, which is already ranked in the search engine to fly up to the top if your using other bookmark sites to give your digg backlinks?
This is just an idea, I dunno if someone else has tried it, or thought of it, or if it would even work, but to me, it sounds like in theory that it would be a good way to rank a page really high.
