As the title says, can you recommend me anything ? I haven't read a good book in a while.
 
1984, Brilliance, Autobiography of a Yogi. They're all completely different from each other, I hope that at least one of them satisfies your curiosity!

Foundation Series by Isaac Asimov. Anything by him is a good choice tbh. I'm a sucker for old school hard sci-fi. Also Ringworld by Larry Niven comes to mind as one of my favs.
