This is a great book to help you get started. It explains to you exactly what bitcoin really is (the blockchain technology and such), how it started, about altcoins and how they came about. You will be surprised about what you will learn in there. Like how exactly 'anonymous' cryptocurrency like Monero or Zcash works. Ripple (XRP), dogecoin, and many more are all discussed. It also teaches that dogecoin should never even be thought of as an 'investment' as it is actually just a 'tip' coin where users would tip each other and it is heavily controlled in supply so its price never surges. The book also teaches some basics on technical analysis, portfolio management, valuation framework, fundamental analysis, ICOs, and many more. Highly recommended for every crypto speculators and investors.
Then you should also read up more about technical analysis if you're interested in trading. In my college years, there were 2 textbooks that helped me a lot.
Chart Patterns by Thomas Bulkowski. Everything about those chart patterns you will learn and the probability of breakouts and so on. The author is really friendly too as I've emailed him before and he responded to my inquiries.
Then the other TA book is Getting Started in Technical Analysis by Jack Schawager. Every single darn thing about TA that you need to know - price action, price psychology, charts and patterns, all the tools like MACDs, RSI, Stochastics, Fibonacci retracement, trendlines, and so on.
