OP, are you looking for fiction, or non-fiction?

Some personal favorites of mine would be Anthem by Ayn Rand, the Sword of Truth series by Terry Goodkind, and Rich Dad Poor Dad by Robert Kiyosaki

Ayn Rand - Fiction, as well as a classic. Definitely thought provoking, but a short read. Note that she is native Russian, so some of her writing can be difficult.

Terry Goodkind - Fiction, and a very long series. If you like fantasy, it's pretty solid.

Robert Kiyosaki - Non-Fiction, but written as a fake scenario. More of a primer on personal finance and investing. One of my top recommendations, despite not having aged well in our modern era.
