Greetings from the Amazon.com Associates Program.

It has recently come to our attention that you are redistributing our Content on third party web sites in order to drive traffic to Amazon.com through your Associate tagged links. Please note, this is a violation of the Operating Agreement to which you agreed to be bound when registering for the Program. Specifically, Section 2. Links on Your Site states that you "acknowledge and agree that you will: (f) not sell, redistribute, sublicense or transfer any Content."

We insist that you immediately cease and desist this activity. Moreover, because you are using the Associates Program in ways in which it was never intended, your account has been closed and you will not receive payment.

    Best regards,

made a tiny picture from amazon banner
    found reason to ban me

Holy shit. I was coping and pasting item descriptions straight from Amazon onto web 2 properties (because Howie Schwartz told me it was alright :)).

You would think for the paltry 5% or so they give you they would be happy for you to use their content. So 95% isn't good enough for them they want 100%.

They way they worded that sucks too. "Stop doing this now......and and BTW we are keeping the cash muhahahahahahah."
