The aim behind this thread is to give you simple, yet beneficial information about this sport.

Don't be mislead by these "hardcore" ads that claim to turn you into a super sexy person that even A. Julie would dump B. Pitt to sleep with you.
I'll do this as a Q/A.

What is the best meal for morning?
- Your first meal should be good, because after hours of sleeping your body needs nutrition! Always make sure you cover Protein, Carbs and healthy fats in this meal.
Protein: eggs (egg white pref) or whey protein
Carbs: oats (preferred), small banana
Fats: nuts, I prefer cashews :) :) :)

What is the best meal after workout?
Always have your shake with you. As soon as you're done have it immediately, right after working out your body will need protein, and carbs! simple carbs, like Dextrose. This will aid fixing the muscle tissues your broke :D.. Most important thing: do not have any kind of fats during this time, not even healthy ones, here is why: fats slow down absorption of protein, which is something you don't want. you want protein get absorbed as soon as possible!!

What is the best meal pre-bed?
In this meal you will only have protein and healthy fats, For protein opt in for Casein protein (slow absorption) this will feed your body while you're ZzzZzzing (sleeping, in case you did not get it). Get some healthy fats as well (nuts, peanut butter) Having fat in this meal will help slowing down protein absorption which is good ;). If you don't want to have protein shake, go for Cottage cheese, as it contains slow acting protein.

Which supplement brands I should go for?
Go for known brands like Optimum Nutrition, MuscleTech (overpriced a bit), Universal Nutrition, Nutrex.

To be continued..

@Sean, It's not muscleteen, it's MuscleTech. It's a famous brand of supplements.

Thanks op for starting this thread. Hoping to see some great thoughts here.

Currently following Kris Gethin's 12 week transformation program :)

Will be following this. Would these same tips apply for women? Cause I think there are supposed to be some differences, but not quite sure.

What do you guys think of a low carb high protein diet(paleo),plus supplements to boost hgh production the body when working out to lose fat and gain muscle.

A few years ago i was talking a sexual stimulant when lifting weights and it built muscle fast, they contain l-arginine which helps boosts the production of hgh in the body. This time Im just taking a l-arginine pill.

Dymatize Iso-100 is Fantastic protein powder...

I don't think there is any difference when it comes to nutrition and supplements, maybe yes if it's about how often you workout and stuff like that. I can't tell.

What are your stats and goals?
Arginine is an amino acid, it is included in many protein powders, if you read their labels.

I deff work out and have been pretty heavily over the last 2 years. 4 days a week at 2-3 hours each time I go.

I do a 5/3/1 split. Following a routine I actually found on reddit. the website is called http://strstd.com and I do the dave tates periodzation table. I actually added a few workout to this work out as well cause i like to focus on biceps a lot but that work out is pretty good. Before I started I could barely do 210 on bench more than once. Now i'm up to 245 at least 5 reps and I only weigh 170. So it deff works at least for me.

Doing the p90x right now and I have seen more results in two weeks then I have seen in two years. I was already in good shape but I couldn't see any improvements as my body adapted.

Anyone that wants to get really ripped, switch up your routine greatly and confuse your body
