Bodog.com hasn't been used for awhile now. Its new operator is brovadaDOTlv

Idk if anyone here is a merge aff for poker..... But the same payment processor for named on that bodog shit is also on some of the lock skin checks.
So the dog and some of merge are using the same payment guys. Which means my and your money is not safe.
 
how do they seize it? do they make him turn the domain over, do they hack it or does the hosting company hand it over?

Yeah there is a lot more to this than just an interesting article, this has an impact on a LOT of members here and what they may be doing, that is why I posted it.

A lot of the problems have to do with what type of online business you are running and the domain extension you are using, it has nothing to do with the US government trying to "own" the world.
 
The US gov has ruined me. I have been fighting this battle since fulltilt and ub got popped. The Doj got most my money when they took over fulltilt. I doubt I will even get paid. If they were to come and freeze brovada I would prolly have to go to subway and get a job. :( I wouldn't be surprised either

I feel your pain as the game changes. I got slammed by adult taking a dive with free tube sites ubiquitous online. You move onto the next. Start diversifying now.
 
I don't think the feds are silly enough to just randomly seize a domain name, there certainly is more to it than what meets the eye. Ayre is a bigshot and a show off, in all probability it could be one of his pasts coming back to haunt him.

However, for those heavily into promoting Poker/Casino, its time to look out for greener pastures (whatever remains of it now)

another reason to switch from usd to bitcoins. The FBI can't seize bitcoins,as long as you keep it on a encrypted mircosd card in a secret location.
