You have answered your own question before:

As long as the domain has not been de-indexed. You can search using site: in Google and cache: in the search field.

This is why you do the cache method before you buy the domain.

If the domain passes those and has been cached, you can use it.

Google does not keep track of the sites that an aged domain has been linking to. For example, if the domain is 10 years old, Google is not going to remember it linking to a "bad neighborhood" 5+ years ago because most likely that other site no longer exists.

Just a quick update. I've had my scrapebox blast completed 3 days ago and Google has just indexed the post today. I've now done the 301 redirect and it's working fine. Also have an ALN order processing on here. Let's see what happens.

Why would you scrapebox the aged domain? When you post the article it should ping and get the aged domain indexed fairly quickly since it's wordpress. Have you tried just letting the aged domain get indexed via the ping and get the same results?

Would it be possible to recycle the aged domain? IOW, if I redirect aged-domain.com to new-domain.com and 6 months later my new domain is doing great, can I start over and redirect the same aged domain to a different new domain?

And if so, how long would you wait before doing so?

I have tested this method and it works Great. Tried it both with a 301 to a new domain 60k exact searches monthly ranked 1st page already #9 but just bought blast yesterday.

Also did a blast to a 2 month old domain. Competitive niche 50k exact searches. Currently ranked #4. Used paranormal blast on both.

It works. But Bobby is right in the fact that ranking is only part of the equation. For one of the sites I get 150 unique visitors daily over 200 page views but nobody clicks ads. Tried linking to a CB product and nothing. Now trying adsense and still only $2 yesterday when CPC is supposed to be $3+.

After traffic, content and monetizing the site is very important and that's the part I'm still trying to figure out. But method definitely works.

I would not recommend this.

Remember if you go in with a mindset of changing things that are already working, you are going to get different results that may not be what you like.
 
aln sucks a lot. i have some friends who buy at auctions and then host all of them in one place and add it to ALN to get points. On the whole their system is pretty strong but if you get links from 3-4 such mini-networks inside ALN, you will be doomed. So it's all about being lucky. People who submit tonnes of articles will suffer more because the chances are higher.

That looks to me like a flaw in the PBN model, if people can contribute blogs that are centrally hosted. The only real protection sounds like a truly private network where one is assured diverse IPs and no footprints.

1. Buy aged domain through GoDaddy Auctions
2. Get monthly hosting via NameCheap
3. Add 1K article
3. Scrapebox to get index
4. then 301 to new site

Once we have the 301 in place, would we still need to pay for the hosting account on the aged domain?
 
Can anyone suggest an easier way to accomplish Step 3, finding if the aged domain is deindexed or not, rather than going through each site on the Godaddy auction list and checking them, one by one in Google?

And, by not being deindexed, I assume that you mean that the Google "preview" feature still shows the old website when you type in site:domain.com, is this correct?

Rep++ for anyone that can save me some time with this.

Set the filter to find "Domain Age" 1 to 20 and find the domains that have already expired and are ready to be bought. Page rank does not matter, only the domain age matters. The older, the better.

However make sure that you check to see if the site is deindexed in Google, and you do this by using the following command in google:

I typically put site:url.com (leave out www or http)

Do not purchase a domain that is deindexed.

Someone posted an email from the owners of ALN and they are addressing a number of issues and removing lots of blogs

5. Scrapebox blast it to get it indexed
6. Once it is indexed, 301 redirect
7. Build all links from this point on to the new domain

Yes, you have to have different hosting and ip for the aged domain.

I have a hostgator reseller account so it looks like I can host the aged domain there and then host the new domain at namecheap, as long as they're diff IPs..

still waiting for my 301 redirect to be picked up - any estimates on how long this should take? is a second sb blast recommended?

waited 5 days now. site is going to be coming up to 3 weeks old soon with all this waiting :-/ damn google!
 
It should take 3 days max to be indexed.

Have you added a 1k article to the aged domain?
