Anyone thinking it is a bad idea to 301 a 14yearls old domain to my 8th months site?

According to bobby, yes. You'll only want to 301 redirect to new domains ( 30 days old or younger)

I wouldn't do it, I read here in the forum that someone did this and lost all of his rankings.

What if the 8 months site is legit, no mfs or anything like that. I also have a competitor that 301ed his penalized domain to another site (2 years old) and now that site is back where the first was.

cool my new website is at pos #16 after only 2 days and without any backlinks :)

Maybe it's the GG fresh premium gift, wait and see (and make some BLs of course)

Congrats Buddy. Care to update your current rank? Also, is the Old domain (u got from GD) is from the same niche?

Decided to try this. I don't usually try to rank for big keywords. Started about 2 weeks ago and just today everything came together. 301'd my aged domain to my money site and bought the $355 service from that guy.

Local monthly searches - 49,500

Keyword is very lucrative. Will let everyone know how it goes :) Even if it doesn't rank I will only be out $430 or so, if I get in the top 3 I'll make that back in a day.

i see some people trying to keep the aged domain indexed by google with fiverr gigs when bidding on a site on godaddy. How do you do this?

THIS METHOD IS AWESOME! Three weeks now and not one success story :D
But bobby's list is grown large, and 99% of you noobs can't wait to buy what he's selling. Good luck!

I suppose this is a bad time to bring this up... but shouldn't you be waiting for Google to find the 301... otherwise you're just banging all of those links to a new domain. Without finding and spidering the 301'd site I'm thinking its not going to work right. This is a question I had for Bobby but he's been gone for a bit.

Either way, good luck... I'm interested in how things go and you certainly took the plunge in a big way. Let's keep our fingers crossed!!!

Okay, so a lot of people are asking me similar questions, and here are the answers:

1)Do you have to wait for Google to index the content on the 301 site before you do a 301 redirect to your main site?

Yes, and this can day 1-3 days

...

7)Does Google crawl sites with a 301 redirect on them?

This question is a yes and no. To be on the safe side, I personally add a 1,000+ word article on the 301 aged site, get it indexed via a scrapebox blast from fiverr, then redirect it to the money site. This way Google thinks your site is legit and not some spam site used only for a redirect.

I'm just thinking that there might need to be another step in there. I mean, how does G know that there is now a 301 to the new site unless they go back there again to try to spider it, and then see that it is now redirected to the new site.

I'm not sure that bobby's answer actually speaks to that. I don't know... maybe I'm just "over-thinking" this thing or seeing it the wrong way.

Anyway, thanks for looking that up!

Do you think people are going to come and tell you what they are doing to make money with this method and if it works or not?

The people who use this method and rank #1 are not going to let you know.

People have messaged me and told me how the methods I share have helped them rank Top 3 within Google very fast.

Welcome back :D

Godaddy have just released a 13 year old domain to me today. I had to wait 9 days for it to clear. It has 168 pages in Google's index, but as I understand I still have to create a new 1000 page post and get this indexed before I redirect to my new site?

I have a new site set up that has 9 pages indexed so far. All unique content and 9 days old.

Hi,

Yes, you still need to add a 1,000+ word post and get it indexed before you 301 redirect to your new site.

All done, now we wait.

I've just searched Google.com using hidemyass for my site to see where it is and it's in position 8. But in Market Samurai it's not in the top 10. Only backlinking so far is 20 unique articles via HighPRsociety 3 days ago.

It's not a competitive phrase. Maybe I should have gone for a more difficult phrase? Anyway here's the keyword stats for anyone whose interested.

Exact Searches: 2900 searches a month
Exact Results: 280,000
Av CPC $2.35

I plan to put Amazon on there.

Off to Fiverr for a SB blast to the old domain now. Will update if anything happens!

welcome back bobbylove!

should the domain age transfer over to the new site be viewable on market samurai?
