Thanks for the reassurance :D The domains are not in my niche but were aged 15 years :D

Question though: why would you load the site with links if you're going to 301 it?

Glad to hear it's a temp ban. Bobby has some great content and has is a good, helpfull member. Hopefully everything can go back to normal and everyone can just focus on great content and sharing that's what the site is all about. Not bickering with each other. That being said. Free Bobby. Lol.

After the SB blast, it took 1 day for it to get indexed.
 
I bought a 15 years old site, does not have the keywords in the domain but I do not see how that can hinder the technique in any way.
 
crowly - it won't so don't worry about it. Just handle it with care and make sure it has some quality original content before 301ing it.

You would load the links to the 301 domain because you're sending thousands of links in a short time period. Sending them to a new domain will look unnatural and G will ban your site.

Hi Raven, I was worried that the domain might get deindexed before GoDaddy releases it so I ordered this gig just in case. Will definitely put some unique content and slapped on the homepage.
 
What do I use for a forum username? This is required on the form and I don't even know what forum they are referencing.
 
arrg im stressing my domain is going to get deindexed before i get hold of it! im going to blast the hell out of it now until it gets handed over.

i dont understand why we cant use a free host for the 301'd domain? there are a few that allow self hosted WP?

I pasted the code onto the header.php of my domain. However, it doesn't 301 to my new site. Is it supposed to do this? Or am I supposed to manually 301 as well via the cpanel?

Please advise! I want to report back with my testing!

Because after you got your blog setup and article indexed and 301 redirect in place, when they survey the site periodically and find out that your 301 redirecting which is against their T.O.S that 301 redirect will redirect to their sign up page, that's why you dont use free hosts for redirects. Yeah it will work initially, but not for long.

J/W how do you know his site doesn't redirect from an aged domain? Currently there insn't a way to tell...unless you know something I don't :)

Yeah I was wondering the same thing. Is there a way to find out if Google indexes pages that do 301 redirects (as in show in search results)?
 
cool my new website is at pos #16 after only 2 days and without any backlinks :)

Maybe it's the GG fresh premium gift, wait and see (and make some BLs of course)

Did you make sure to change url in the Header location line?

Make sure it's at the very beginning of the header.php file too!

That's Awesome! I am waiting till the 28th for my aged domain to be released then I am on my way too. Keep us all posted!
 
Gosh! These age domains drop fast! 2 out of 4 dropped! I just sent a fiverr SB blast now and see if it will be reindexed.
