Bobbylove's Competitive Intelligence Techniques

Thanks Bobby,

I have sent 10 emails.

I will wait see what feedback I get from them... maybe my site needs some work if they say no.

Good Weekend :)

Thanks Bobby, a great contribution as usual for all us newbies.

This was some great information thanks bobby, I use the same template as your for emailing but I still can't seem to get any link exchanges going.

I'm referring to the homepage so hxxp://example

I don't do inner deep linking to like the hxxp://example/some/dir

Both could have PR, but the one that always has the highest will be the homepage, so hxxp://example

I dont understand this. Who with high PR will let me or you put a link straight up their main page? I think this is a one in a billion situation and will be of no benefit to anyone.

What about inner pages? Possible to find PR of a single page?

got a slap today.
had a site that was ranked 1 for 2nd kw and 4th for my primary.

now for my 2nd kw im 10th and for my primary im on page 11 =D

it is either because i added to many high PR backlinks (to fast)
or because i lost 400 links over night from a spam site that sucked up my url and put a ton of backlinks on me. (like 900) and they vanished.
im guessing it was my stupid ass backlinking to high pr sites, but, who the hell knows!!

With an attitude of failure, then you will surely fail.

You simply message the site owner and ask to do a link exchange, some say yes and others say no.

I don't bother with inner pages.

You don't get lower rankings by getting backlinks from high page rank sites.

Google does a lot of page shuffling, so you constantly move from position to position, so the key is to keep building backlinks.

Thanks, bobbylove321 for your time, good timing for me!

Thanks for the share, +rep...

And have a blessed one...

if i added 5 pr9's in one day, you dont think that would be a red flag??
i was thinking i would do some 8's and 9's and let google find them naturally.
my dumb ass didnt think about the fact that a pr8 or pr9 probably is constantly scanned by google sucking up all the links at once!

The chances of you getting PR 8 or PR 9 (real) backlinks is slim to none.

Remember just because a homepage of some website is PR 9, and you get an inner backlink (forum profile, example) that doesn't mean you have got a PR 9 backlink. It means a PR N/A or PR 0 from a PR 9 website.

So if you got 5 PR 9's (real ones) linking to your website from their homepages, then that wouldn't be a red flag at all, and in fact, Google will give you a LOT of Authority over night, and you will pretty much outrank 99% of all your competitors.

Very intresting information, thanks a lot, however i have a question:

What is more important you think a do follow backlinks with regular page and domain authority or a nofollow backlink with high authority?

I mean in the scale of importance what is better a backlink with follow tag or a high authority, i you would have to choose one.

thanks

It depends on several factors.

A PR 1 with a do-follow will have a higher authority than a PR 3 with a no-follow, etc.

High Authority will usually give you a much better value than a random do-follow.

Thanks bobby for this GREAT share!
however i have a problem registering for a free account everytime i try to register for a free account i get to this page with only paying options:
Code:
http://www.seomoz.org/gopro
i see no options for free registration  please give me the correct url or did i miss something?

Thanks again!

gotcha. something got me.

maybe its because i had a couple cpa's on there.
NONE of my new competitors got slapped, jusssst me!

what is the quickest you ever got de-indexed?
i bought a new domain about a month ago,
(very very high comp)
ALL i did was put up my first article, written by me, not spun
and one adsense ad. it was already indexed and just found out its been deindexed.
and i mean TOTALLY. -GONE-
nothing on there but 1 adsense and an article i wrote.
no warning from google or a word.
nuts

The only "problem" I see is Adsense.

They have very strict guidelines and rules, so maybe they thought you were trying to game Google and so they removed your site due to lack of content, etc

funny thing is, ads are still appearing.
tell me to take the ads off, tell me i have a warning..
DE-INDEXING?!?!? bastards!!

yeah, the MS bands converts your link directly into MSP link, not even your own anchor text.
