Yes you can find literally thousands of wordpress blogs to comment on from these spammers, and they know what they are doing.

Use Scrapebox to run down the entire domain of one site, and get every single external link, then harvest them, and you should have literally 100,000+ blogs to comment on.

I am having hard time grasping something. What do these sites authority have to do with mine? It is a korean blog. My content is something entirely different. What good does a link do for me their pagerank domain authority etc?

I just recently got interested in this SEO stuff, so excuse my ignorance. How difficult is it to beat a site with PR 25 in siteexplorer (#2 position). My site is PR 68 (#1).

1)There's no such thing as PR 25, Page Ranks (PR) range from 1 to 10, and 10 is Google. I think you mean PR as in "Position Ranking", but you don't use "PR" for that.

2)You need links to your site if you want to rank high in the search engines for your niche keywords (If you are just doing a blog for fun, then you don't need to worry about ranking high)

3)I don't know how difficult your keywords are, so I can' tell you how difficult your competition will be.

If you build backlinks to the site, or get social bookmarks, etc. then you should rank fairly well.

I am talking about Page Rank in Opensiteexplorer link you gave. My competitor which is #2 position in google has 25/100 Page Rank in opensiteexplorer. My site which is at #1 position has 68/100 PR in the same. But I am at #1 spot many years now.

What I want to know is if PR 25/100 in opensiteexplorer, I believe which would translate into 2.5 in google scale would be difficult to overtake with a new domain.

If you build backlinks to the site

W h a t I a m a s k i n g i s : H o w good is a b a c k l i n k from a k o r e a n b lo g or a s panish w e b s ite to my s i t e? They have nothing to do with I do or s e l l. How would I be able to benefit from their h i gh d o main a u t h o r i ty?

edit: I am trying to post a 2 sentence paragraph and it triggers something.

OK, lemme ask it this way bobby: I run a finance website. What good would a backlink do for me from a music band's website? Would it help in anything?

Don't refer to it as PR 25/100 because that is not correct.

In Open Site Explorer it is referred to as Page Authority & Domain Authority, not PR.

And PR doesn't scale to 2.5 in Google because there is no such thing.

And I don't really understand your question.

So you are saying why is the guy in 2nd position when he has much less authority than you?

If that's the case, there could be many reasons, such as:

-He has keyword in domain.
-His domain is a .com
-His domain has age
-His domain has a lot of lower valued backlinks
etc.

Yes, any and all backlinks benefit your website.

Don't look at it as "they are not the same theme".

Google doesn't care or look at it that way.

They look at it in the overall picture, which site has more backlinks.

hey bobby, thanks for another great idea :-) its funny that all the sites youve posted are spammed like hell lol
poor webmaster

I don't think that the topic of the site matter to google.

Thanks again Bob!

Can I ask should I go after the do follow pages only? Coz I did the trick and all sites were red (using the firefox addon) but only a hand full showed no follow :S

:hippie: bless

P.s....

the my space thing, what if I created like 10 my space accounts all linking to my page and I commented on 10 other band profiles per account per week for 4 weeks.

What would that do to my SERP and PR?

You should test out the myspace tip yourself and figure it out, I haven't done that with 10 accounts.

I go after do-follow and no-follow.

Don't be picky with backlinks.

So what does it mean when a site (#2 position SERP) has 25/100 Page Authority and another site has 68/100 (#1 position)?

Ok, think of it this way in SERP:
#1 PR 7 (my site)
#2 PR 4 (competitor site)

I have a new site with PR0. How difficult would it be for this site to go to #2 position? And how long would it take?

Your questions are silly.. why dont you ask him, when will you make your first million if you work 100 hours per week ?

No one can answer your 2nd question buddy. It depends on what link strategy you use, and so many other factors like, how you build your links, how good your on page seo is, where your links are from, your anchor text and more. But to give you a ruff idea, it would take long time since it sounds as if you do not know the basics of SEO. Try the chellege(dot)co

And as for your first question. It means that the site with the higher pr is ranking higher than the one with low pr.

I am sure my questions are not silly to a person who knows what he is doing.

Those PRs are there for a reason. They would know how long approximately it would take to overtake a PR2 than a PR4.

Dude, just do some searching, you will see many sites that are out ranking pr 4 -pr 5 sites, because of good linking and on page SEO.

All the best on your journey its sad you only picked up that I called your questions silly.

All the best buddy.

Dude, just do some searching,

I am doing this. In fact hours and hours every day since 10 days!

I just don't even know where to start. There is just so much conflicting information. Newbies start here page lists something like 500 tools!

bobbylove says backlinks are important no matter where they come from. Many others say they are outdated, dont waste time.

First question from me to you:

What platform is your website built on to have a 100 Domain Authority?

And then we'll get to the other questions.
