I want to tell you about my new project, which I've been working on for a month - BoardOS.


BoardOS is an Open source, none profit, board system ( just like Mybb and PHPBB ).


My goal is to change the free board systems market. I think Mybb or PHPBB has a lot to improve, as well as vBulletin or IPS.


Most of this systems are not user friendly, and if they are, they cost a lot to the average person.


As of now, BoardOS already contains a lot of cool features, but the thing is, I can't really show you the demo because its in a different language.


What is your opinion about this project? Can it work? Will you use it? Please show your support and i'll upload an english demo version of the system.

One of the main features of my board is the fact that its very user friendly.
I've checked most of the board systems out there and I really got annoyed by the fact that they are not user friendly.
I'm trying to create somthing new, something simple, that everyone can work with without any previous knowledge.

Another thing I was thinking about, Is to make this system more "social". Users will have thier own profiles with thier own cover and profile photos,
with thier own walls with the abillity to post new statuses and make friends, etc...

You know, some time phpbb was user friendly too... but after every new feature it start be more and more complicated for new user...
Anyway it sounds good But i don't believe that you will finish this project alone... because if you really want done it in good way you must have strong dev team or to be awesome developer... if you are, then my question is what u are doing at this forum ?
