BMR Got Hit

I think these blog networks are being taken down manually. I think it would be very hard to do this algorithmically as there would be so many false positives and de-index too many legitimate sites.

It is not hard for goog to do this manually.

Google can take down some big players in the private network space and then everyone is afraid and no one wants to put their links on these networks and most networks will go out of business.

Google has thought this out and they are playing it perfectly. We can't over react and run for the border...

We will find the work around.

What I think is that google turned up the dial on the BLOOP (back link over optimization penalty) and then at the same time is manually targeting these private networks so everyone is thinking they got a wmt message b/c of their links in private networks, but actually its b/c of bloop...

De-optimize your anchor text and eventually you will come out of the penalty. I have been doing this for the past 30 days and I am seeing my site start to gain back some rankings.

I got my penalty on Feb 17th and its been a long road, but de-optimize your anchor text using naked url's, brand name, junk anchor text, such as "click here" etc...

Also, increase your social signals. You can buy a bunch of retweet services on fiver.com.

Can you reuse posts from BMR sites that got deindexed? Is it safe to post these articles on other websites?

my own opinion regarding bmr, aln and the lots is the fact everyone are raving about this network and we all know once we get an effective method we rape it till it no longer working hence google cracking down on the networks. You think the likes of matt fucking cutt doesnt know about this network? yes he does.

The only solution now is to build 20 or more private blogs which you own and maintain without having to rape the network or sell services with it, that way only you know about the network and you have higher chances of longetivity with it.

If your going to go the route of having your private blogs. Do the following

Set your homepage post limit to 5
Install the all in one seo plugin, and enable the follow
Use noindex for Archives
Use noindex for Tag Archives

Im in the process of building my own free blog network, soon as I will create a proper network, Private network wont die only if you own it, maintain it, you dont whore it out. Goodluck.

Ive removed my posts for one domain that got hit. Lets see what happens now

Me for one i was expecting this. The amount of footprints these networks have ... it amazes me some of them resist so long.

A harsh wake-up call to diversify links and traffic sources. I also just think it's signalling the end of transparency, visibility, community. Whatever is working for you IM-wise, you'd better to keep it to yourself. Gee is declaring war on widespread, loud-mouthed BH activities. If you've used BMR, then you should delete your content, if you can. Yayhoo and Boring will be de-indexing, too.

If G0oGle is using an algorithm then we should start praying. If its an algorithm that is helping G de-index blogs, I guess even private networks are not safe as long as you do not post highly spun/unique content to your private blog network.

If anyone owning a private blog network is facing the same de-indexing problem, then it is surely the algo thing or else let us assume that Matt and his guys are just signing up and posting on a many blogs as they can and then track their links back. Final Step: De index the blog.

HADAKUMULLAH

Its like 90% sure that it wasn't not an algorithm...maybe even higher actually. All signs point to a manual review. Nothing new.

The ironic thing about all of this is that google is the one that created 99% of the web's spam anyway with their huge emphasis on back links. Funny how the other engines don't rely heavily on back links and are a lot less spammy than google.

FU Matt Cutts you damn hypocrite!

LOL right on!

Glad I didn't use them

Matt Cutts is ready to rape ALN any day now...

That tells me that Google definitely stalks the forums! So for sure they are here. HI Matt!

I think it's both. I suspect that everything G does "cutts" both ways. Why wouldn't it? They certainly have the resources to do both manual and algo. I'd bet money that it's always a combo method when they nuke something.

Public blackhatting (methods and techniques and services meant to cheat or shortcut certain processes that usually take longer that are posted on public forums)=Short term BH money.

Private blackhatting (methods you use that are not on public BH forums or that very few know about)=long term BH money.

Pretty much sums up why everything from BMR to FB court cases to anything that is publicly known is getting hit within the last two years.

Keep your pockets secure, keep your methods and if you can, use services that are somewhat private!

I wish you the best of luck guys, but you should have known this was coming.

What I mean is... They didn't change something that automatically detected Private networks and de-indexed them like other algo changes; i.e, it wasn't a panda slap. This was a manual job and more than likely a maintenance clean up as opposed to a new algo change that will efficiently stop PR Networks.

The ironic thing about this is that buildmyrank.com is still indexed and page rank 2!

100% true, sadly. It's time for us to create our own methods and bank .

so what's the format to set up our own private networks like BMR? just lots of sites that are geographically diversified on lots of different servers with different whois/domain registration info?

and how did Google find the majority of BMR's network unless Google signed up for a lot of links or BMR is Google? we need to know this so we can prevent it in the future...

BMR was a major player in the SEO game and therefore they were on the Google Spam Team?s radar long before this derailment took place. Many people can offer their hypothesis as to what happened but the bottom line is this; any and all assessments are boiling down to pure conjecture. Thus far, there has been no less than about a half dozen explanations offered up as to what happened. The truth is; no one has the facts unless they were part of the process or they know one or more individuals involved in the process.

That said, BMR getting shafted by g00gal does not mean the sky is falling on SEO or on Private Networks. If what happened to BMR has you quivering in your boots, get out of SEO and Internet marketing right NOW!

After the fallout I lost a good deal of SEO clients because I provided BMR content for them but I?m in the process of regrouping and you can best believe they are doing the same thing at BMR.

Here is one thing I guarantee, BMR will be back and you can bank on that. They are going to figure out the loopholes in their system and come back better and stronger. It may be under a different name but they will be back.

In the mean time, it?s time to stick it to g000gal with a rash of non-stop negative SEO to the likes that they have never seen before.:saeek:
