BMR Got Hit

Made a separate thread about this but putting it here also.

On another forum, someone commented an interesting thing about the deinexing of ALN sites. More than 5000 have been deindexed.

The commenter said the deindexing was based on who is info whether it was public or private. Can anyone else confirm this

Last month 60 of my sites were deindexed, they were either from godaddy or network solutions with private whois.

The rest of my sites are with another registrar and have not been touched yet. It could be a coincedence but I doubt it.

whoa, i know some sites are about to get hit badly with this happening.

Let's be realistic ,google probably visits bhw every day checks out ads and simply waits patiently then goes full on and wipes out alot of sites.

BH works well but you need to be clever, forget 20k scrapebox blasts at once and using publicly advrtised networks. If you find something that works, keep it to yourself,do not post anywhere.

Lazy people will get nowhere, those who test and can keep it under wraps will succeed.
Put it another way you find a very good method, you post it here, how long to you think it will be before google reads it,alters the algo and wipes out another bundle of sites.

Google won't do it straight away they will keep it going for sometime to take out alot of sites at once, hell if I was google thats what I'd do.

Paid links are a pet hate of G anyway.
Yes, but the strong will survive and create there own techniques. This shit is not easy as it looks it requires work and great thinking so keep pushing

Hey guys, I don't get over here to post much, but added this on WF and TP.

Guys, while no one will ever know for sure, my guess is that big G has used scare tactics to force folks into self-reporting. It's a brilliant plan if you think about it. Send out 700K GWT messages, wait for folks to self-report, and analyze the results. Heck I'm sure most people submitting reinclusion requests are even admitting that they used BMR, ALN, (insert other network here), but that's beside the point. The folks self reporting just helped Google shrink the vast Internet down to a manageable level that even it's manual reviewers can handle.

At the end of the day, all of the talk of footprints, etc is irrelevant. Yes, it's still important, but I fully believe G pitted IMers against their own brethren.

I agree, DO NOT LISTEN TO GOOGLE.

You're just making stuff up there. How hard do you think it is for Google to determine that a site is using a link network? If there are 700 links coming to your site from the same network, do you really think they need to trick webmasters to give them info? Pure nonsense.

UAW, till now, doesn't seem to be hit but they have stopped giving away the 'link reports' that they used to.

It will take a while until the de-indexed sites are recrawled and the missing links are figured into the ranking equation. Another thing to consider is that a lot of the BMR links were already de-indexed due to poor navigational structure on the blogs.

So...are you guys going to remove all your links on BMR? I notice that there's an option to remove all links. Is this a good idea?

There was that guy on here who had an offline business that made MNS and he only used BMR for ranking. Not sure if he's posted but I'm worried for them :(

yeah I have been trying to find the link something like journey to 100k with microniche arg poor guy people in the thread kept telling him to diversify too ahh have him on skype i expect a status like *suicide*

Yeah, diversity is very important, and this shows it. My diversity for my premium sites is very, very high. Even my micro sites get a fair amount of diversity. I don't use private blogs or high PR homepage links. I suppose it makes my projects more expensive, but not a lot more expensive.

I was wondering what happened, now I know! I had recently signed of for BMR from a Facebook ad. I only put up maybe 5-10 links.

Here is how I see it.

My site is only de-indexed for the keywords I included in the links on BMR. It still remains #1 for the other keywords that weren't used in links at BMR.

I think that Google setup BMR or funded BMR with the sole purpose to find the people who are buying links. Then punish all of those people. Or they could have just signed up for BMR themselves then looked for the links in their own database to find the IP's and sites that BMR uses then de-index everyone on there.

So all I care about now is how do I fix this? Is my domain forever black listed?

This sounds similar to a penalty I received once. I did a 10k xrummer blast to a KW because I was a n00b and believed the "zomg no penalty is possible" they spouted to me. It worked for a month. Then ka-boomb. Ranking dropped off the face of earth. Looking back it was a super-duper easy KW that I would now laugh at. But it just plummeted. No matter what for several months I couldn't get up. Maybe 4 months later, my rankings magically reappeared? I could rank for any other KW, even ones the site was poorly optimised for, but not that one.

(the moderation system on this site won't let me post the quote of the previous posting)

what formula did they use to find your x rummer posts?

actually the moderation wouldnt let me say x rummer as one word

what is zomg no penalty is possible?

If G0oGle is using an algorithm then we should start praying. If its an algorithm that is helping G de-index blogs, I guess even private networks are not safe as long as you do not post highly spun/unique content to your private blog network.

If anyone owning a private blog network is facing the same de-indexing problem, then it is surely the algo thing or else let us assume that Matt and his guys are just signing up and posting on a many blogs as they can and then track their links back. Final Step: De index the blog.

HADAKUMULLAH

I have no idea how Google figured it out and penalised my site. But they absolutely did. Had porn forums linking back to their site as well. I was horrified. Learned my lesson :D I then started using link pushes and pyramids and everything went upwards from there.
