Hell I remember when you could put "naked girls" in your keyword tag and get a ton of traffic.

You also have to remember that there is nothing to stop Google from actually joining these networks; Who here thinks that Google does not own a copy of ScrapeBox / Xrumer and uses it to reverse engineer web-spam techniques?

This is about what it would cost them to do it manually:
1 full-time employee at 35k-45k a year?
Subscriptions to all the blackhat tools on the market - 50k a year?
Subscriptions to all public BMR like sites - 50k a year?
=140k ish....

140k is a nipple to Google. Get real. Alogrithimic or not - public networks are done.

What will happen to sites promoted using BMR, will they get penalized or only drop in rankings due to deindexed backlinks.

yup 800 posts of mine have all been deindexed. 3 domains with -50 penalty. so much for putting fresh content and spun content and bla bla. Matt can eat my shit. Iam fucking going to feed that search engine so much of spun content

Matt Cutts to small SEO guys: Only people with $money to create authority PRIVATE blog networks can play.

The idea was good (get rid of spam) but the end result may be a disaster.

They pay there employees more than that. I know firsthand. But yes it is still a drop in the bucket to them. I don't understand why people think Google hasn't infiltrated the black hat market. It is not a crazy concept.

Sad to hear this about BMR.. In spite of its few fallacies, was a much stronger network than ALN and the likes. And kudos for their courage in putting up that post.. RESPECT

I don't think the value of private blogs would be reduced in anyway, more like Panda update 1, where all article directories got affected. In the end, ezine, articlesbase etc survived. This isn't any longer about C class IP's, unique nameservers etc, it's more about creating unique websites that seem very genuine and build links naturally out of them. Diversify your platforms too; wordpress or some script can be a factor too.

Made a separate thread about this but putting it here also.

On another forum, someone commented an interesting thing about the deinexing of ALN sites. More than 5000 have been deindexed.

The commenter said the deindexing was based on who is info whether it was public or private. Can anyone else confirm this

Since this has happened has any one had a drop in rankings yet?

Let's be realistic ,google probably visits bhw every day checks out ads and simply waits patiently then goes full on and wipes out alot of sites.

BH works well but you need to be clever, forget 20k scrapebox blasts at once and using publicly advrtised networks. If you find something that works, keep it to yourself,do not post anywhere.

Lazy people will get nowhere, those who test and can keep it under wraps will succeed.
Put it another way you find a very good method, you post it here, how long to you think it will be before google reads it,alters the algo and wipes out another bundle of sites.

Google won't do it straight away they will keep it going for sometime to take out alot of sites at once, hell if I was google thats what I'd do.

Paid links are a pet hate of G anyway.
