BMD4 Beta will Launch this week:

The bad news is BMD4 is delayed again :(

The good news is i will be launching BMD4 beta so that users can have a feel of BMD4. The main feature that will be temporary disabled from the beta is the pinging feature.

Once we sort out most of the major bugs and added the pinging feature, BMD4 will be fully released.

Still a ~$150 price tag? Anyone that's used previous versions of BMD and that are familiar with the new features being launched care to chime in and let us know if it's worth that or not? Really interested in buying this as soon as its released but I'd like to get some feedback from knowledgeable users.

BMD 4 will most definitely be worth it. It was worth it before, but it became less effective and tougher to keep up with the updates and such. I've been waiting for this for a long time. I'm glad I bought it before!
 
What so we get the beta tomorrow, and everything will be new except for the ping feature not working? It looks awesome from the screenshots:

did you get an email from BMD that version4 will be released this week? i bought since v2 .... how come i didnt get an email

do a search of your emails for "edwin", thats how I picked it up.
 
I bought it last week, haven't even bothered to DL version 3, but I am a little aggravated with the delay again...but we'll see if it's worth it :)
 
the last email i got from edwin was on AUG 31
is this the same mail you talking about it? he didn't mention any release date
 
BMD, when working, is definitly worth the price. I can only
imagine with the added features how much better it will be.
 
will be downloading it ..... i haven't been using bmd since it died
 
I bought it a couple of days ago, hoping to have the new version ASAP. Right now it doesn't really work very well. Better off outsourcing my bookmarking at the moment.

And by not working very well I mean I might be able to register for and bookmark with 5-10 sites, and thats it.

This is exactly why the program is being entirely rewritten basically. It's effectiveness waned and now the program is all but useless. BMD4 will be cutting edge and definitely worthwhile.
 
Has the price on BMD gone up. I know new buyers would be charge more for version 4, than if you bough a previous version and waited for the update. I am contemplating buying version 3 now, and just chillin until version 4 drops.

Yeah, is this how it goes? If you buy V3 now for $97 you get V4 when it's released and save the ~$50?
 
According to previous messages: all v3 owners get the update free.
