I’ve been running FB ads for a while, but I keep seeing people debate whether it’s easier to manage campaigns via Business Manager or just personal ad accounts.

From experience, which is actually simpler to run? Does BM really help with scaling and organization, or does it just increase the chances of account restrictions? I’d love to hear what others are doing and why.

Personal accounts feel simpler for small campaigns. Less overhead and fewer flags for minor mistakes.

BM is better for scale, but if you’re running multiple accounts or high-risk niches, it draws more attention.

I use BM for clients and personal accounts for testing. Keeps things clean and reduces risk.

BM helps with reporting and team management, but I avoid big spends on fresh BMs until they’re warmed up.

Honestly, it depends on your niche. Low-risk niches can go full BM, high-risk stuff I stick to personal to avoid unnecessary scans

about this matter. what is important is what your product is. whether it is a personal account or a BM account, it has different characteristics and strengths. but if it is about products like crypto gambling and finance, I recommend you to use the former personal account

personal accs feel easier at start but they don’t scale and once restricted you’re done. BM gives more structure (multiple ad accs, better billing, easier team use) but yeah, it’s watched closer. if you plan to scale past small spends, BM is the only real option

If you are a Bm account, you must have a verified business account. This will ensure your rights better. Otherwise, the account will be quickly disabled.

for a long time i've been managing my campagins through a personal ad account but now im using a bm

BM helps you manage your accounts, fanpages and customers more effectively when you want to expand or work in groups. However, if you only do small-scale business, using a personal account will be simpler and less risky. Depending on your goals and scale, choose the appropriate account.

For small 1-2 campaign go for personal ad account.
If you want to manage multiple ad campaign go for BM

Depending on your usage, personal accounts are simpler for small campaigns, BM accounts are better for scale but have higher risk

Thank you for your question. BM ads account is easy to use and manage everything more easily on a large scale, on a small scale using a personal ads account will be more convenient.

Solo + one brand + low spend → Personal ad account is fine.
Multiple assets/teammates/agency or scaling spend → Business Manager is simpler long-term.
So i think it depend on your usage

If you are a business, running ads on a Business Manager has the following advantages:
  • Create and manage pixels
  • The number of ad accounts will increase as you spend more
  • Easily add and assign roles to employees
  • Easily handle tracking for your campaigns

From my experience, using Business Manager (BM) is better in the long run. Personal ad accounts may seem simpler at first, but they are more limited and more likely to get restricted when spending increases.
Business Manager gives you more structure: you can manage multiple ad accounts, pages, pixels, and team members in one place. It also makes scaling campaigns easier and keeps your assets more secure.
Yes, BM accounts can face restrictions too, but if you verify your business properly and follow Meta’s policies, it’s much more stable than relying only on personal accounts.

BM gives you more control and tools for scaling, but it also attracts more checks from FB. Personal accounts are simpler and sometimes last longer if you’re running low-key stuff.

Business Manager is better for scaling and managing many ads, but personal accounts feel easier and face fewer limits.
