I think dictionary words are generic which is very rare to get trademarked, however, if you see any trademark already registered it better to avoid buying for reselling. You can use it for developing your own site and get trademarked in your country to avoid any legal conflict. The question seems to be getting confused in the replies.

A) Is Bluetooth a trademark?
B) Will someone buy Bluetooth.TLD?

are two different questions.

Odds are, most people don't really care to buy a potentially trademarked domain for random purpose then forfeit the legal fees to even defend their right to own it so the answer to whether someone will buy it is... probably not. You might get $20.

As for whether it's a trademark, you can likely use it for a different purpose. For example, my name is a trademark in my professional niche in the USA but that doesn't stop others from using the same name for another niche.
