I am messing around with the Instagram method mentioned time and time again on this forum but have encountered a problem.

I can't upload a picture for my profile or to the feed because it isn't detected images on my computer.....

Where do I need to put the images so that Blue Stacks and Instagram detect them?

Thanks,

Through bluestacks the only way i've been able to upload pictures is by emailing them to myself and opening my email through bluestacks to add to my "mobile device".

Seems like such a long way but other than that I have not found a way for it to recognize a drive on your desktop. The options provided by the bluestacks help specialists don't work.

I will do it this way if necessary, but there HAS to be a better way, haha.

Bluestacks reads among other things your own "my documents" folder
To tell bluestacks to sync your files install Media sync

Mediasync:
Code:
[URL]http://cdn.bluestacks.com/public/tools/MediaSync.apk[/URL]

To be able to use the camera in the instagram app your need to turn off "advanced camera" in the settings of the instagram app

On some viewports when you upload an image the image takes over the screen totaly. just click in upper right corner of the image to proceed.

Media sync doesn't traverse the entire filesystem, see http://www.blackhatworld.com/blackhat-seo/social-networking-sites/499029-howto-easy-instagram-account-creation-bluestacks.html

Perfect! Thanks.

I have this problem with bluestacks.. I use camera 360 or instagram to take pictures of myself but bluestacks can't detect the webcam from my laptop... Are there any settings here to set my default camera?
