Bluestacks not updating

Hello guys!

I'd like to ask for a little help regarding bluestacks. The problem is that it's always trying to update the insta app, but it can't be updated because "Error: package file is invalid".
IG still working but through a really old version (5.x) and the latest is 6.2 or something like that. I think it's really not safe to use it like this.

Any ideas how could I solve this problem?

Tried mobile1 store but didn't work at all, also tried readding the account with no success.

try uninstalling the instagram app and install .apk from file, download the .apk to your disk, if bluestacks is installed on your system, your system will associate the .apk with it automatically, so if you double click on it, the installation will start

Thank you for the fast answer, however, I can't make it work. :/

When I double-click it says installing apk, loads for a few seconds then error: INSTALL_FAILED_INVALID_APK

I restarted the computer, bluestacks, donwloaded 6.23.0 from another source and tried with 6.22.0
Nothing seems to work. :(
 
Even when you install the latest version, you won't be able to upload pics. I recommend you download Andyroid, it works great.

Try using a VM and install android as the OS. Install the googlestore.apk and download IG from there.

This requires some research but this is another way to manage your accounts.
 
Try Andy android simulator. Its free and far better than blue stacks.
 
Thanks for the answers guys. I'm using a windows VM with bluestacks right now, but gonna try and set up an android VM.

Gonna check andydroid too :)

BTW is there a way to set up a proxy for a VM? So I could make multiple android OS based VMs each with its own proxy, then I only have to turn the VM on and upload.

You noticed that countless methods here works right? And anyway they're just an idea which you shall not copy in anyway but take insipiration but just apply similar process in something else? And by the way theres few methods shared by bigbuddy,7878,basstracker,meathead (mods) which works even by copy pasting them.

Probably they have some backup methods which works even better, that's why they are sharing or they wouldn't. Nowadays it's full of indians that will rape anything you share so no thanks. Anyway we are going a bit out of topic, wish you good luck with your instagram journey

how are you so sure that the methods shared here do not work? did you try them yourself? why are you still on this forum if none of the methods work for you?
it's also very rude of you to put this line about indians, no matter who is reading this forum, their country of origin is not related to you in any way and should not be involved in your arguments
