Bluestacks for IG Automation?

Does Bluestacks or anything like it work for Instagram now for automation on desktop? Last I heard it was dead for years but now some people are saying Bluestacks works for it.

If you are doubtful try it with one account and test it, but these things didnt work that great a long before too so no chance it works now.

That is what I'm thinking too, but I spoke with an automation pro who said other than real mobile devices I could use Bluestacks for desktop (if/since I am limited to desktop) for IG. As far as I knew, Bluestacks died years ago for IG but he says he knows many people in his field who are successfully using it for multiple batches of IG automation.
 
bluestacks doesnt rly work, depends on the amount of accounts you need, i might be able to handle it for you. I have many devices and using 4g with unique ips for each account if you need account creations
 
I'd give a wide berth to BlueStacks.

It can be used. And so can the APIs. But the difference lies in to what extent. That's why peeps stick to real devices. Not worth the ROI. Coz its running on PC. on top of that.
 
It depends on your situation. If you have no other options then it will still be better than the API since the updates.
It would never be my first choice but when I got stated i was in the same position and it worked fine for me. Just a bit harder to automate and scalability becomes limited to your hardware.
 
Automating android emulators?? Install Python , easy :)
 
I havent used bluestacks in a minute.. does it still work to use it besides automations....
