When you send your photo, attach a document with the links to the newspapers/magazines where you are interviewed.

Back when i was living in LA there was an agency that promoted models on IG i knew a friend that worked with them and she told me that even the agency had problems getting that badge for models with large following so what ever you do DON'T PAY SOMEONE who claims that they know ppl working for IG

I've heard creating imposter accounts for yourself could work - basically tell instagram that you need the badge to protect your rep and stuff like that.
It really depends who looks at it and how they are feeling haha.
