Hello friends,

I am currently doing some personal work on twitter which is honestly just for fun rather than for any real benefits.

I am unable to find what is needed to get blue check marked on Twitter. Again, this is not for any real monetary gain but rather to fuck around in virtual space and get some more reach for my own stupid opinions.

Is there a guideline by twitter on what you have to achieve before you can request to get blue verified?

I could easily build up a small brand on YouTube and Medium alongside twitter if that’s what required.

My account is NOT aged, has only real followers(so far), and I could easily build a website around it in order to push legitimacy. Any twitter experts around?

Cheers and much love,

thank you, i wasn’t able to find that on mobile actually.
This was along what I already knew about verification.

Creating an illusion of legitimacy is not too hard, but are the other parameters actually relevant? How many followers etc do I actually need? Account age matters? Faking being a journalist or entertainer is not hard, the hard part is tricking twitters review process I assume.

Thank you my friend!

I seriously have no idea last time I heard they closed registrations so you will need to check on that but you give it your best shot you never know!

interesting. I don’t really keep up with twitter so I wasn’t aware of that. They might only add blue checkmarks according to their own unknown criteria and not by request then? This kind of sucks but it’s understandable. I might have to give up on cheesing the system then if that’s the case.

Many thanks. This is not what I like to hear but it makes sense, unfortunately. Might also be the reason why the verified accounts lose the checkmark on username change. I did look into buying accs like it already haha.

Just do some good PR and you should get in or do PR and create alt account with your brand name boom you’re blye

Good PR I can do. I am building a website and Medium articles on the side. Might pay to get them published on some actual newspages in that case.
