Blue usernames on black background

Hey all

I'm a newb to the forum, although have been browsing for a while trying to read and assimilate as much info as possible

I just wanted to ask the question does anybody elses eyes go funny when looking at the blue text on black background?
Mostly usernames of users in threads. I have pretty good vision otherwise but seeing that particular blue against a dark background makes it difficult to focus.

The only other time I notice this is with the bright blue hard disk led on the front of my PC tower.

Just a random thought I thought I'd throw out there. Is it just me?

Hahaha Looks like there is a problem with your eyes. I didn't find any difficulty in reading blue usernames.

+ They pay $97 to have blue color user names.

OP, you must be having a CRT monitor like me then

The blue on black looks great on my android phone though

Lower left there is a dropdown to change the theme. You can change from bad to worst at any time.

It's happening because of low contrast level between blue and black, this colors are too close to each other

There is an option to change the theme at the bottom. I never knew it was there for such a long time. I have changed from black to white and it looks a lot better and easy to read. Give it a try.

I prefer white background.. Black is too heavy for my eyes.

Right, just me and my messed up eyes then! :cool2:

Thanks for the tip on changing the theme, that really helps

My monitor isn't crt its IPS, I think stizerg had a point about the contrast. Either that or my piece of junk graphics card isnt up to much!

Maybe I can earn a few IM bucks to buy a new one
