A guy here on BHW posted that, he received a blue tick by posting a viral video on his Facebook page and the video received many many many shares and BAM BLUE TICK ON HIS PAGE
Other guy again here on BHW shared that he received a blue tick on his Instagram profile by winning a photo contest + all photos in his account were made by him. ( I think nature but not sure )

Try getting verified on Facebook and maybe it'll pass over to Instagram if you request them to.

Getting verified on social networks was a lot more easier before few months! I got a lot of people verified on Twitter but things have changed since then. The best and the easiest way is to get viral on any of those networks!
Or if you know the right people in the industry and are willing to spend thousands for the verification.

Dont ask him in skype if he knew and was honest he couldve done so right here instead of getting people to sign up for skype!
