Blue badge Instagram accounts - any special features?

Do people having verified blue badge Instagram accounts, do they have any special privilege?

I heard from someone if a verified IG account, reports another account - that account is going down. is that true? Do they have any special features? Instagram trusts these verified accounts?

The attention, authority and assurance it brings is why people love it so much!

If you were looking for a marketing agency online, would you prefer one with 10 followers and 2 posts or the one with 15k people, tons of quality content and the blue badge?

Apart from that, those accounts cannot or have any special privilege? I heard if verified account reports another account, it surely goes down. is this true?

I don't know about that. However, they get actions limits higher than regular accounts. Especially story views, which can go in the hundreds thousands compared to others.
 
Well that's not entirely true a verified account can report a non-verified account but Instagram can’t automatically shut that account down it needs to be investigated first to see if the account is in fact violating Instagram’s terms of service

A verified account can also be a sign of trust and security
