HEY guys does free blogspot still ranking these days or no chance to rank even with good templates ? thanks

Index your blogs and make relevant posts with niche relevant. I think with good template and proper indexing they rank well

I suggest WORDPRESS its also easy ho use and they provide free or paid both templates as well. and the making process is not too difficult.

Yes . But the problem is publishing high quality well SEO content. It will be not easy without any tool unless you’re really good at SEO. The advantage of using self hosted WordPress is having plugins like Yoast SEO and which certainly makes SEO job much easier.

Blogspotblogs still rank.

People still use that platform to build tier 1 and tier 2 sites for link-building purposes.

As far as actual high ranks, I see many specialized Blogspot blogs ranking that have built up quite a community.

But with that said, if you're thinking long-term, I won't use Blogspot.

Because whether we like it or not, accept it or not, Blogspot and other free platforms have developed a negative reputation for attracting spam blogs.

Also, if you're going to build an actual business with your blogging, you would probably make a lot more money in terms of advertising, sponsorships, and your own products if you paid the 50 bucks to get your own self-hosted WordPress blog.

I say 50 bucks because that's for the high-end.

You can get a self-hosted blog on your own domain for much less.

Please remember that blogging's main cost is not your hosting or domain expenses.

Instead, your main cost center is your time and content.

And the good news is you can build a sizeable self-hosted blog with content that you produce on your own.

I'm talking about dictablogging.

Just dictate your blog post.

If you can't write for shit, hire somebody who can, and it's not that expensive.

Also, depending on the niche you're in, it doesn't mean that you have to have tons of posts to make decent money with your blog.

If you're in the right niche, your smaller blog, and I'm talking about around 50 posts, can still rank and bank.

There is a chance for it to rank, but don't expect it to be in some high position as Blogspot articles are really something that doesn't make big results anymore and that's why many people decided to write on some other platforms. WordPress is a lot better solution for writing blogs, the interface is pretty simple, and even if you don't know how to build a site, you can use some pre-built theme and you will get more than enough to start your blogging journey. Ranking for these articles will be much better and you will be eligible to compete with others for some keywords and get desired positions much more quickly.

blogspot post still ranks , can mix some auto blogging and some micro niches , it still worthy for some tier 2

It can rank but it will be harder than wordpress blog. It is hard to generate trust without a proper domain.

After 2016, I haven’t seen any blogger blog ranking for a good keyword.

Blackbean:

can you show me high ranking blogspot sites in bing and google?

is it a good idea, to build large multi topics site on blogspot to ranking multiple category pages, with your own domain?

Same to me find rarely high ranking blogspots in google and bing.

Have a nice weekend!

I want to copy articles from blogspot sites for my new website

is this a problem with adsense?

i don’t know Adsense but it is for SEO. Don’t just “copy and paste” them to your site. Try rewriting them and you got a new seo-friendly article.

Excellent post. It was elaborate and quite informative.

I do agree regarding Blogspot's inferiority. Another way to look at it is that with Blogspot, you're really just limiting yourself to the features Google allows you to use.

Wordpress offers a world of possibilites and continues to expand with new plugins and features.

If you are in fact going to start a business, having your blog hosted on your own hosting allows you to own your blog without concern that it may be taken away one day.

Taking the extra time early on to do the hard work will pay off in the future. It's an asymmetric workload - more now, less later.

Take care.
