I would never use blogspot. You have so many capabilities on Wordpress that you'd miss on blogspot.

If you have the budget, go with paid hosting and WordPress. That would be a 100x better.

But, if you don't have the budget. Go with blogspot/blogger. Buy a domain on GoDaddy for $0.99/one year and connect it to your blogspot blog and you're good to go. If you're not going to be spammy. You'll have a free website running and that will last for a hundred years!

I prefer wordpress it is the best tool and it has many features and many attractive themes and templates.

WordPress is decent for SEO. The .xml sitemap, helps to index your site content faster, in an easier way.

Word press is better, but then even better is to use a paid hosting. You can access third party advertising and nobody would shut your domain down for violation of terms.

Blogspot can be removed and there is no quick way to contact.
WordPress hosting is good for my self

Wordpress is better for those who have technical skills but for them who dont have technical skills and only want to write articles then blogger is good.

I will choose wordpress over blogspot. BUT if you have plan to go for something serious then use dedicated hosting.
