Blogspot template issue

I've been trying for days to figure out how to fix my kid bro's blog issue. He inserted his ad code into a new blog he started working on. The ad code says "active" in his AdSense account but has not been showing on the site. Can anyone please help me on how to fix this.

How he inserted the ad code in the blog? using an adsense widget? If yes, then try using a html/text widget and insert the ad code in that (by going to adsense dashboard and generating a new ad unit).

Also try changing the location of the widget and see if that helps.
Did you tried putting the adsense code on another site just to check if the account is really active.

Or disable adblock.

the ad is active but it does not say the ad code is placed properly, remove the old codes you added and copy the ad code and put it in html / text widget. and wait a bit, sometimes it takes few minutes to show.
