And are you basing this off of the stat that 38% of its Visitors Come from U.S Compared to WP has only 22%?
The question becomes then who has better plugins? IMO WP and i dont think Squidoo Will be able to compete there, WP has that game locked.

Self hosted wordpress gives you a very nice "seo optimized" website, but you still going to need to target the right keywords and do your own backlink buildig...
I have however found that hubpages ranks very easily, very fast...and if targeting long tail keywords, in most cases you dont even need additional link building...down side is that the rankings dont tend to last very long...

Blogger - not even held high regard by Google
Squidoo- No good for SEO (too much on page) but if you want to know what people spend amazon money on, it is interesting for results.
Wordpress is THE SEO way 2 Go

Hubpages based on personal experience optimize their pages for SEO pretty well. But they do not accept any affiliate links so if you post any clickbank links your hubs are not going to be accepted.

Hubpages does allow up to 2 (two) affiliate links in your hub. You can have links to wherever but not more than 2 links to the SAME website.
If you post non-spammy content it works fine. I include relevant clickbank product(s) link plus send a link back to my own web property for backlink purposes. I have some there with ebay and/or amazon products, others with adsense. For me it was mainly about the backlinks. Any ebay, amazon, clickbank, etc earnings is icing on the cake.
I've one hub that's about 2 years old, PR2 now that averages about $1/day from ebay clicks and I haven't really done anything to it since it was originally written.
