Blogspot and law = safe?

Hi,

I have one blogspot blog about some company which is doing some nasty stuff to the environment...
Someone from the company contacted me (comment) and asks me to shut down the blog. I dont want to shut down the blog because what they are doing is wrong and I have the right of free speech. (I also used some SEO to promote the blog, so if you type "company name" in google it is #1 ... #2 = the companys website)

My question is, can they contact blogspot (google) and ask them for my real data like email and IP logs???

If they are really doing nasty stuff, they won't contact G. Getting logs from G is not really easy. The concerned party should lodged a complaint to the local police and they have to submit all documents required by G to their legal Dept. This usually happens in case of cyber crime investigations. So they may not go that extent.

ofc they want u to shut down since u are talking against them but basicly i think they can do you nothing. But if its going any further blogspot may just delete your blog I think this is an option..

They can't shut you down if your telling the truth. And even if it was rumors, just add to the bottom of your page REALLY fast, "Note: All sayings posted on this page may not be true." Also the right of free speech(if your american, don't know about other countries) prohibits them from doing shit. so GF harming company.
