Any ideas/experiences on Blogroll links after the panda. What's the present scenario?

Should be just as safe as before Panda, as Panda isn't concerned that much with off-site SEO as it is with on-site factors.

It is a very good link, but you'd better don't try to buy too much blogroll links from spam blog which was just created for selling links even they have high PR.

i have a very good experience on it .. really help our SERP especially HIGH PR blogroll link. One of our campaigns had jump from 3rd page to 1st page, #4 in SERP to be exact now in the most competitive keyword. It really helps a lot

Yes, blogroll link is work well.. just look how the authority of those site

In my experience, blogrolls are safe. They help you get high PR and lot of authority. Some lawyer companies are buying bulk blog rolls from me for just to increase the PR..

Yes, They are stilll working from experience. I did built after Jan 19th an Jan 25th after page layout updates ..

Its safe to buy blogroll links but the most powerfull links are contextual home page backlinks
They give instant boost in rankings .

I thought blog roll links and home page links are the same, what is the difference?

Blogroll links are also Home Page and might also on all Blog Pages , but Blogroll will contain only your site link with keyword .
But other is Home Page contextual links , your article including your link on home page is more powerfull .

thats the difference .

home page links are links that can be found in the homepage.. that's it.. it can be any type of link (blogroll, contextual, sidebar) as long as the link can be found in the homepage. About the blogroll, its just a section or the location of your link in the particular page. Blogroll can be found in the blog page, homepage, about page, or any page.
