Not only is it possible to run both a YouTube channel and a blog at the same time.
I highly recommend you do it this way.
Think about it.
When you shoot a video, it's a wasted resource if you just take the video and upload it to YouTube.
You're just going to be on one platform if you do that.
If you record a video and have it transcribed, at the very least, you have a blog post coming out of that same video.
So you work on creating video content once, but this will also result in a blog post.
What if I told you that you could take that blog post and turn it into tweets, Pinterest Pins, and even TikTok videos?
There are so many ways you can create one piece of content and then repurpose it to fit different platforms with different formats.
Let's say you shot a 10-minute YouTube channel video.
You upload it to YouTube, but you should also upload it to Vimeo because Vimeo gets traffic too.
You can then take that same video and have it transcribed.
Then you have yourself a blog post.
But you shouldn't stop there!
You can take that transcript and use a tool like Surfer SEO or Frase to optimize your content for search engines.
Once you have optimized blog posts, you publish them, strip out the headings, and turn them into questions and answers.
This process yields for yourself content for Quora.
You can then make smaller versions of these, and you have yourself tweets for Twitter.
You can then take the same images you used for your blog posts or the same ones you used for your YouTube channel video and maybe take a screenshot or the original picture and turn it into a Pinterest Pin.
You then link the pin to your blog post.
You can make shorter versions of your video and upload them to TikTok and Instagram.
You can then make a shorter version of your YouTube channel video and cut them up into different themes to fit different themes or topics, and you have several YouTube shorts.
My point here is that if you're gonna work, get the most out of every single second you invest in your work.
So work once and get paid many times because every time you upload content to a different platform, there's a chance you're going to draw traffic from that platform to go to your blog.
And when people click on ads and buy something, you get paid.
So maximize the number of eyeballs your content gets.
Don't just work, work, and work.
Hard work by itself is gonna lead nowhere.
While it's true that hard work wins, it has to be directed and smart, and I've just described to you the smart way to blog in 2022.
