Hi, @Traevoo.
Whether it's about business or blogging, we can't say that we did everything correctly to succeed. There's always an area that needs an improvement.
With regard to the question of how long does it take for you to make money by blogging and how to speed up the process, I think, the more important question that you need to ask are the following:
1. What are my monetization plans for this website? Am I going to use Google Adsense, be an Amazon affiliate, sell advertisement space, accept guest posts, etc?
2. What is my content strategy that can make readers come back for more?
3. Should I care about SEO (keywords, links, etc) or I'll just write organically?
Do not rush and do not cut corners if you would like to stay in your game for the long haul. Be patient. Doing the right stuff is almost always boring.

Depends on your budget to invest in lots of blogs, SEO, Social Media and getting PAID links from High DA Websites.
More content, more blogs, more backlinks --> more traffic --> Passive income.

For time, it depends upon various factor.
But it takes around 4-6 months before your site in placed in perfect position(means position that your site deserve in Google's eyes) on Google search.
