Hello,

i have a question, I do not understand everything.

If i have a blogging site, and i want to promote this site with some backlinks, is it good to promote the homepage or the articles?

if i use the homepage, what keywords will i use? the focus keywords of each article?

Best Regards

so if i add an article with the focus keyword "future of ai", and i want to buy some backlinks, i use the focus keyword "future of ai" and my homepage

Right ?

To start with, promote Blog Links for respective keywords.

Steve

is it better to promote the homepage with backlinks, or the articles you write on this page?

I'd diversify the backlinks in 50% - 50% ratio. 50% of all backlinks you build should link to your homepage, and the other 50% should link to your inner pages (articles).

While building backlinks to your homepage, try to choose:

1) branded anchor texts like "Yourwebsite.com", "Yourwebsite", "Your Website", etc.
2) related anchor texts like if your website is about home painting, you could choose anchors like "painting", "home painting", "house painting", etc.
3) naked anchor texts like "https://mywebsite.com"
4) generic anchor texts like "learn more", "here", "in this page", etc.

And while building backlinks to your inner pages (articles), try to choose the article's focus keyword as the anchor text. But don't overdo it, if you're building more than 3 backlinks to a single article page, then make sure to make at least one of these 3 backlinks' anchor text an LSI keyword or other secondary keyword.

For example if your article title is "Do bananas have fiber?", pick two anchors as "are bananas a good source of fiber" and "do bananas have fiber", and the third one as "is 1 banana a day enough fiber". So not all backlinks should have the focus keyword as anchor text.

Just my thoughts.

many thanks for it!!!

Articles are more specific than the homepage, making them more relevant and attractive for backlinks. For each article, use the focus keyword and related keywords in the anchor text (the clickable text) of the backlink.

Yes it's beneficial to promote both article and homepage with backlinks, you should use broader keywords which is relevant to your niche and also optimize for SEO ranking and audience relevance

thanks for help!!!

You can promote home page and article pages both but for that you need to target your keywords are per your article.

If your site is new you can start building the links slowly to the homepage with the brand, generic, naked, and the relevant anchors. Then you can start focusing on the other pages. Also, don't add too many links in a short period.

It's better to promote specific blog articles with backlinks rather than the homepage. Use keywords related to each article's topic when promoting the homepage. First, start promoting your homepage and then specific article

It is better to promote your homepage with quality links and targeted keywords with anchor text.

When promoting your blogging site with backlinks, it's generally more effective to promote individual articles rather than the homepage. Focus on using keywords relevant to each article's topic for better targeting and visibility in search results.

you can use long tail keywords for your blogging.it's better than others.

You have to make backlinks for both. It's better to build more links to the homepage to maintain a good authority overall.

Promote the articles if your content is in high demand and has good quality. Link building is very important too.
